Danielnino00: I agree he is quite unique. But I believe he is more Salah than Mane. Although similar movements and pace. He lacks the dribbling ability, technique, weak foot proficiency and long-range shooting that has made Mane what he is today. Like Salah, he is one-footed and prefers dribbling on the run while Mane prefers man to man. He also has very similar attacking aggression with the former. Even with this, Onyekuru plays way closer to goal than orthodox wingers. Like a second striker. In fact, I think the only player we have who plays like Mane is Ebere Eze, yet he is still far behind. 1 Like |

TheLoneCitizen: I hope rohr knows how to use him. Rohr seems to have sunk into this simplistic logic of rating a player by his league. One thing the super eagles have is the ability to explode in the last third of the pitch and x-factor players that can change a game. Rohr tactical knowledge is questionable and limited. I hope he knows how to use his players instead of looking for players from real Madrid, Juventus etc |

Luthben: I think watching a lot of EPL and UCL football might have clogged my view of physicality in football. Because I just checked the stats and 17 of the 20 teams in Serie A collected at least 75 yellow cards. The ratio was 14/20 in La Liga. While in EPL, none of the 20 teams collected up to that figure. Still, no way this Osimhen's shove was a foul. The much appraised EUROS 2020 confirmed that football is and should remain a contact sport. |

Philosopher1979: I don't think the manager invites players independently. The NFF can be very chocking. Probably we criticise man too much. |

I saw a little clip of Huesca game from yesterday and Nwakali seem to be gaining his confidence back. He certainly deserve a place in SE but will ROHR invite him. |

isan: Very young. I like the 4×400 race too. Favour Ofili is one speedster. From trailing by 8m before third lap to finishing 28m ahead of 2nd place is something to applaud. Uko too is one bright star. However, we still lack a queen of sprints to challenge JAM's Tina Clayton. That girl is too good. But i won't lie, this Championship is majorly a revelation of Nigerian athletes. Funny enough, who noticed the kits beauty, with AFN written on it? I didn't see a brand sponsor on it. That Mixed 4×100.... See better overtaking and i die here from our last leg? I really wish something like this Championship is done monthly in Athlete Otiented states in Nigeria so these secondary school lads and girls can come to flood medal tables before 2030. 1 Like |

IDENNAA: Rohr's sense of tactical intelligence is limited. In his limited reasoning, Onyeka is a better player than Nwakali because he is in a better league. Which is funny because they are different types of players. One is like kante while nwakali is like pirlo or jorginho. So none is better, they just do different things and nwakali is more needed for possesion, creative football. Rohr is like Joachim Löw (the former coach of Germany) Incidentally, Joachim Löw should have been sacked after the 2018 world cup. IN the same vein, Rohr has outlived his usefullness. He should have been sacked after the 2019 nations cup. We needed him in 2016 to restore some ability to the team and get us new players (some foreign born) who could rejuvenate the team again. He has done that but cannot take us to the next level. Rohr is like an average student who does not go beyond 58% in school (2nd class lower). Well, we are stuck with him. Things like winning a nations cup or getting to the quarter-final or semi-final of a world cup are beyond him. He can't take us to the next level. He has tried but he has serious limitations. He does not know how to use his players or maximize their innate potentials. 6 Likes 3 Shares |

Luis Suarez did the exact same thing and his goal stood. I remember the commentator saying the defender should have been stronger. What annoys me the most is that coach of his defending the referee and even cautioning Osimhen. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=96Fv8i9RuFU 3 Likes |

BascoVanVeli:Well Osimhen has learnt the hard way that Serie is not Ligue 1 or UCL where you will get away with such fouls. Well from a selfish point of view at least he will be fresh for our upcoming world cup qualifiers |

BascoVanVeli:Let's stop all this. I love Osimhen with all my heart but what he did there deserved a straight red, whether he hit him properly or not. Professional referees do not view hitting a player and pushing to be the same thing. Pushing and rough tackling is unsportsmanlike behavior and leads to a yellow card. Striking a player is violent behavior and is a straight red. This is why you see players push a lot but hardly anyone hits another player. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

JohnBullMySon: The video clearly showed he pushed his opponent. That was a football move with no other intention. At worst u give a freekick and carry on with things. I just posted a video here with Luis Suarez doing the same thing prior to a goal. No excuse can make that situation right. 1 Like |
