Hello,@lekiboboe pls help me with any suggestions if you can. I submitted my application online on the 11th of May, got a mail from IRCC to submit an ielts test score before the 24th of June. I took the test and submitted on the 11th of June. My results got acknowledged on the 14th of June. Every since I haven’t gotten any updates. I decided to book for an upfront medicals today. This is what my account looks like presently. I’m supposed to resume on the 7th of September. Any suggestions on what next I should do? 1 Share |

It is because of people like you that others no longer give their opinions here. First response should never be to attack… Certainly the GCMs notes are to be requested to ultimately tackle refusal reasons, that is common knowledge. But my writeup above was inferred from the information provided by the moniker. Is it not advisable for all angles to be critically looked at? Do better next time You're right we have to look at it from the information he/she brought then proffer possible solution why he/she was delayed before the GCMS notes will be out. My 2cent 1 Like |

Please give it a thought. So sorry for the news. It’s safe to say most applications that take too long don’t come bearing good news. And I always believe in something, do your best to address refusal reasons so it won’t affect your applications to any other country. I really don’t know the extent to the checks they do when they share information. See it this way, 1/2 refusals is same with 5 refusals. So all die na die. God strengthen us all. Kindly take August to rest, wait for notes, restrategize and fire back September. EmeeNaka: My application is Refused. Based on Family tie in Canada and home country, Purpose of Visit blah blah blah. I doubt I will Reapply. I don't know if I will like to go through this kind of waiting again, I will still give it a thought anyway. I don't know why but I feel relieved. Thank you all for your prayers and support. I wish Everyone, best of lucks.

dotoracs: Sorry for the feedback. I'm sure your next attempt will hit the mark. If I may ask, not that it necessarily means anything. Just a possible deterrent... Do you have a LinkedIn profile? If yes, is the link to it on your résumé? If yes, is your employment/role with your employer detailed for the public to see or verify? If yes, what's the quality and depth of your linkedin contacts?
Just asking.

Good information Lekiboboe:
You are welcome honorable!!!
Only you can know if it relates or not.
An Automobile Engineer is different from an Automobile Dealer
One has a Mechanical Engineering perspective while the other has a Business Management
If you have work experience in Automobile Engineering, you can go for that mentioned PG. Cert program at Fanshawe College
Due to your Study Gap, there is a progression if you go for a PG.Cert program you have work experience in, you would be able to convince a Visa Officer on your SOP why you are going for such program.
You might likely not be able to convince a Visa Officer on your SOP why you are going for a PG.Cert Program related to what you studied 11 years ago, cos a Visa Officer can easily assume your knowledge about that kind of program would have become obsolete. That's no progression.
PG. Cert has no age limit

Good day house,
So today I summoned the courage to email my school for deferment to the winter session and they replied me by saying they dont defer admission except on the ground of severe illness or death of a family member meanwhile none of the above is my portion. They said I have two options which are to resume classes from my home country or I forfeit the admission and reapply.
Dear Guru's in the house what do you suggest I do? Personally, I dont want to pay tuition fee until I see the decision of IRCC.
I am a May 24th applicant and I have ordered for my gscm note to know the current stay of my application. I sent an email today for my gscm note after I filled the form but I didn't get a message of acknowledgement or received. Is this normal? |
