Hmmm, bro I understand how you feel and may God grant your mum quick recovery.

However, remaining this way, pitying yourself wouldn't change anything bro. I am in your shoes and haven seen so many bogus amount needed to get an FG job (obviously because of its security) which I can't afford, I have decided to trust in God and begin to chart the course of my life. There are plenty of opportunities remotely and it's only those with the relevant skills can actually get this kind of offer. And you should know there are less bias in this selection, no favoritism and you're certain of getting the job if you're qualified. Also, in most cases your degree sef isn't really necessary provided you can do what you're asked to.


I'd advice you to check for some of the most lucrative skills (preferably tech) and give yourself time to learn and master to some extent. Get your hands dirty, work on projects to build portfolio and begin to sell yourself.

Do not limit yourself to one job that might only pay peanut. You've got vast opportunities online, mouth watering pay as you expand your capacity, wider exposure and lots more.

So pick up yourself, and begin to chart the course of your life. If you dey wait for naija especially when you no get connect, baba you might be on a long thing o. So build yourself until you're too good to be ignored.

Go around and make your enquires well. Many pensioners ain't been paid of late and to make it worse, gratuity is a thing of the past!

If your in civil service now, learn to save up some funds! Nothing is guaranteed anymore after service

I think they've resumed, EFCC resumed last first week too.

I know the person that got EFCC, but the NDIC some one that got CBN told May this year through connect told him that NDIC was available but only from presidency that could submit candidate and they resumed already this same August, we chatted yesterday about it, I think ICPC is still open though.

Most oil and gas are multinational corporations with more benefits than any govt agency. All labor laws are always adhere to there, not like all this SME, indigenous companies and one man businesses that's mostly accessible to common Nigerians, they don't give a hoot about labor law nor retirement benefits.

You need to see what people eyes have seen Nigeria private sector before you see them hustling for govt agency. Most of us got pay cut or no pay during pandemic, no company that follow law can just do that without due process but na lawless society be this.
Let's not even talk about the meager pay with insults as if they're helping you.

See if we have access to oil and gas we will all prefer it to govt agency sef because they pay better with international best practices because mostly it's not only Nigerians that work for this companies.

People working for govt are cover by labor unions, they can hold the country at ransom till there demands are met because law backed them up.
