I did a lot on SMF when I was choosing bb boards. I say this cos I understand SMF was the foundation of Nairaland.

I don't know your reason for not putting the inbox but I'll let it slide since I feel you may want to reduce spam, and allow approved messages. However, an inbox wouldn't hurt. Spams can still be reported.

Second, the @tag is nice. I also understand people already get notified when their username is tagged to a post. But most times, sb who bears Food may be receiving alerts on sentences not concerning them. A tag is useful. I can be discussing about another OluwaSEUN and you'll be getting notified. Bad!

Can the signature, at least, be visible to guests? Believe me, you'd be reducing unnecessary adverts!




Talking about adverts, I requested to place ads where the board has a specific amount written on it. The mail I received and the amount there was what I didn't understand. I thought I should be paying what the board says?



Third, why is there no delete button? Can we be always perfect? If the logs of what is written whether deleted or not is available to moderators, why cannot a user feel they want to delete a post?

Have you considered hashtags and strings that compile the most popular on Frontpage?

Wouldn't it be nice revamping the emoji thing? We now have a handful on our smartphones. Yours don't even pass every emotion...which is what the emoji is used for!

Try to change your mod every Year it will help, people are not longer free again because mod behave like God ..then before someone is promoted to supermod . VOTE SHOULD BE CASTED strictly for those who visit that trend regularly ,Then when someone is promoted to supermode 3 years tenor should be given after that he should step down.......pls what is the meaning of " Look at the snake I killed today" imagine this rubbish making front page for a whole nairaland that millions of people are view ing....the Mod now refuse to push important topic to front page if u are not connected...pls do something .
