If I were to guess, I’ll say maintenance of camera equipment, lighting, multiple decorations of the arena, provision of housemate’s basics in terms of foodstuff and paying the weekly therapist. This is in addition to already paying their staff. The show is boring because everything happening now is the same we’ve seen multiple times. The producers are not helping matters because their twists are already hackneyed. They’re playing too safe to avoid drastically changing the show.

I do not think this BBnaija edition is spectacularly boring. I would rate it at par with the pepperdem set. Very cautious housemates wey no wan cast. The reason many people rate this one low is cos last year was something else. Lockdown was in a class of it's own so we compare this edition which lacks same similar tempo with it and we rate it boring.

I remember during pepperdem, something happened about the HOH game between Ike and someone, Ike felt he was deserving of the HOH so he got some housemates on his side to challenge Biggies verdict.(cant remember precisely).

I kinda wish Pere would do something similar, he should have challenged Biggie over his verdict on the HOH,even if he wouldn't win, such will add spice to the ongoing sauce.

I like this write-up but sadly, this is not the point of Big Brother. Ultimate Love had a slightly close concept. Humans confined in a place will always cook what they’re familiar with. Almost every Nigerian meal is healthy in itself. Paying for luxuries using coins is tricky — on one hand it makes sense because Big Brother already provides basics when it comes to food preparation; portioned chicken enough for twenty-something individuals, portioned vegetables, breakfast cereals, etc. Any extras fall under the category of luxuries. On another hand it’s a double edged sword; would someone without coins do without deodorant or forego meat because everyone else had to spend on groceries? I like the coin concept to an extent because it masks the lack of resources borne from the pandemic hitting businesses capital-wise.

If the house is a glorified hotel then watch people like JMK, Jackie, Saskay and Nini sleep all day. That won’t make for entertaining viewing. They also need to exercise daily to counter their lack of real world movement.

Why have a nutritionist group their meal preparations instead of making him/her a housemate? Weren’t they provided fruits like the Pepper Dem set? Buhari’s death of successful companies in full display. Lol. Personal shopping done twice a week will lead to excesses and thus wastage.

This is the only season I’ve seen with the most amount of tasks. At least it keeps the housemates mentally and physically busy. I’m already bored seeing them come up with the same song, dance and drama. I also hope these companies promising millions of naira rewards can keep to their word.

It’s not about quantity bt quality. These numerous tasks that are rushed have become monotonous and highly boring to not just viewers bt the house mates.

B4 presentations took several days. It was well planned out and well spaced. They were different games organized in the house and activities. There were freeze breaks and special assignments, random surprises and meaningful gifts/prizes. Multiple things to spice of the house and show generally.

Now it looks like they are forcing it rather than flowing.
