Hello house, Please my husband is trying to re-apply for his visit visa. He got denied last year based on finances; it was stated in his refusal later that he did not provide enough proof to show his source of incomes as he is self-employed. For that application he only submitted his bank accounts and company CAC and a cover letter explaining his funds. This time around we have decided to provide as much evidence as possible showing receipts, invoices and also we have tabulated every large expense, giving reasons and providing documents. Most of the large deposits are from his Etsy sales; for this he will be showing receipts for the last 6months from his store to show how much he is making monthly and to back up the large deposits which were gotten from fx transactions after changing dollars to naira. Please I will like to know if the etsy receipts and payments will be enough proof to show the large deposits in his account? |

Hi there! I tried obtaining my bank statement online only to find out my middle name was incompletely spelt and missing 3 letters. I went to the bank today but I was informed that it was because the name was too long and it sometimes happen that way that I shouldn't bother. Has anyone been in this kind of situation? What is the way out? |

Brtrue:Maybe request to speak to the manager since this does not sit well with you and for posterity as well.I would understand if they used just your initials then your surname but to shorten it for you is news to me. |

mariam17:I hope so too.. sometimes the visa officer sees it and acknowledges it, other times they see it and say even tho they acknowledge the receipts, they still feel applicant’s financial status is not reliable etc |

Adebayo82:Number one they picked up on you referring to yourself as ‘a Engineer’... if it was your job role truly there is no way you won’t know it is ‘an Engineer’ and not ‘a’ Number 2, the amount you wrote is your salary and the amount that enters your account as salary were different Number 3, they note several large unexplained deposits in your account.. and gave you example of one of such Overall they don’t trust that the economic and financial picture you have portrayed is the truth and as such refused your visa |

Scott00113:. 4 million is a healthy balance as she would need no more than 1m to fund her entire 2weeks trip. But if she runs a business it needs to be registered as that would explain her source of income.I really do not see another way round it maybe someone else on here might do. |

I tried to book an appointment with TLS today, assisted service and it showed 'transaction successful', debited me, N11700. I'm worried because I've not gotten any Confirmation email from them, and when I click on 'my application', the options there are: amend booking, appointment date not set yet, etc. I've tried to send mail to them through their contact us page, but no reply yet. Please what should I do? |

rosaparks: I guess that the rules aren't yet updated. In most parts of the world vaccinated people still need a negative PCR test to travel and some countries mandate a negative PCR test a couple of days after arrival. Vaccination in itself does not prevent you from getting or spreading the virus though, it reduces your chances of being critically ill from it. |

Hi All Gurus in the House. I would like to humbly know, can a person who has been to the UK on a 6 months visa in 2010 (spent 18 days) apply for a 2 years visa now? He's been previously refused a UK visa Four times after his first visit. NOTE: All refused visa applications were 6 months application. Reasons being that the ECO not sure he will return and that Statements submitted didn't reflect monthly income. (He operates personal business (Limited Liabilities) submitted company's statements and Personal) The last UK Visa application was in Nov. 2016. After this time, he's been to; France × 2 (2019 & 2021) Germany ×1 (2021) Belgium ×2 (2020 & 2021) Luxembourg×1 Netherlands x1 United Arab Emirates × 2 (2016 & 2018) Turkey × 1 (2020) Ethiopia×1 (2016) All these were for Buisnesses and Family Vacations. For this year, he is planning to visit London in November for A-3-day Submit (mainly for Business) What can he do differently? Will only the Company's account work in His favour? ( he doesn't pay himself salaries but His company stands well) Kindly give (advises) and encouragement. |

My Advise to all applying as Self employ and using CAC Certificate, IF you know your CAC is showing Inactive on their Portal Kindly donot apply cause this is red flag now, try and work on it to get it back to active they are currently checking this on all applicant who submited their company certificate, 1 Like |
