Then the Catholics (the only religion claiming Christians during Muhammad's time) do engage in Crusades (religious wars), the Romans weren't interested in Christianity but in dominating the world of that time, they employed the means of psychological warfare as well as physical to subdue all other nations. This means using religion (Church) as bait to dominate other nations, this will render the soldiers of their enemies harmless as they will not like to fight against Christ who was credulously depicted by the Catholic Cross.
Muhammad wanted to form allies with the Catholics since they're both claiming they worship the same God. But the Catholics (whose interest is not to unite nations but dominate them) betrayed Muhammad's trust. Both religion were founded on Racism and Politics so there can't be Peace anywhere they're allowed to dominate.
