Dear Black Bishop,
Two days ago driving home my 2003 Toyota Corolla Airbag Light suddenly stays On. I have check some connections beneath the drivers and passengers seat and everything is ok. I have not done any electrical work on the car since it came as toks over a year ago.

Please help.

You have so many thing that could leads to that but scanning will actually direct you to the cause.

It could be faulty seat belt or wiring issue or just resetting the airbag system or faulty sensor or the spring behind the airbag might be corroded.

So scan and get the issue sorted out

Let me address the codes
P2184 - engine coolant temperature sensor

And you can correct this by replacing the thermostat and the engine coolant temperature sensor also will be replaced.

P0141 - OXygen bank 1 sensor 2 heater circuit malfunction

Replace the sensor

P1157 - that is Air/Fuel ratio sensor

Also replace

Now let break it down for you, a car will always go into limp mode when the car computer detect more sensors not sending the right current or signal but I will advice you run further diagnosis cuz the last 2 should be accompanied with P0420.

The likely issue could be your throttle body, like I said run further diagnosis.

im in enugu , my avalon 2003 is just misbehaving , it drags for long before changing gear when on the highway and this consumes fuel

i have changed the knock sensor , yet nothing
gear oil
that seal under the car that connects to gear , used fuel to wash it , yet nothing

please whatelse can i do ? i no get money again oh

or you can direct me to someone who will fix it once and for all here in enugu .

Like I said it could couple of things. Misfiring can make it drags also fuel components related issues can leads to that also. So run a proper diagnosis with high tech scanning tool

That is throttle actuator

he called it something like TPS . i dont know again , but he pulled it and it changed normal but it will drag small and will now select gear , but fuel was finishing

That is Throttle position sensor and you are meant to have a code for it

Like I said if your rpm is unable to get to maximum point then your gear selection will be erratic.

I've been thinking of getting a car for a while now. I initially wanted to get the Toyota Avalon 07/08 but Nigeria has shown my finances pepper.

I'm only able to comfortably afford a Honda 08/10 now. The issue is the road leading to my house is bad and flooded badly if rain falls. I want to know if the Honda can withstand the bad road or I should just look for another Toyota to get.

good day guys, I noticed some anomalies with my 2005 Corolla sport. when I put it on its rpm rises to about 2200. it only comes down when I on my ac and it kind of give more sound and vibration compared to before.

I changed from semi synthetic to full synthetic a couple of month ago and I have CEL as a result of catalytic converter related code but it has not affected the performance before
