maybe fbi will answer that question but for the fact that the igp probe panel found him guilty, which in agreement with fbi. Be rest assure is cup is full. Best to do is to dismiss him from the service to serve as a deterrent to others that are currently perpetuating crimes in the service

For me I see no need for his extradition, right from onset I felt the FBI were just being sensational about the whole saga base on what they told us, except if there is anything else. He collected bribe to arrest someone, yes it is an offense but it is not worth talking about extradition. Demotion suits it for me

Two , the detention of hushpuppy fellow fraudster was based on allegations of attempted kidnapping

His major offense is detention of the suspect beyond 48 hours stipulated

Whether Kyari is demoted or dismissed makes no difference to his case with the USA. It is up to a court of competent jurisdiction to determine the merits or lack thereof of the Nigerian governemt responding to a request for extradition of Mr Kyari by the US for criminal prosecution


Unless someone can point me to a law that states that a police officer cannot be extradited for criminal prosecution?
