Hi, on the website, there is a currency converter where you can input the dollar value to get the naira equivalent. Pay exactly the amount as seen on the conversion to their account details. Generate a receipt and send to the email i placed on my previous post.

I tried to book a date for TB test but I have a challenge.

I can't get an available date for their center in Lagos. No date in September and I even noticed there's none till December.

How do I go about it as I want to do my TB test in September, please?

Go to their office in ikeja to book a date with proof that shows the need for you to to travel urgently.
They will give you a favorable date. However if you know how to beg, make the payment and go with the necessary documents (very early like 7am) you might be lucky to do the test same day. Cheers!

A friend suddenly discovered that 1 alphabet is missing from her first name on her international passport. (Using the following names as an example. Assuming Chinenyeaku is incorrectly written as CHINENYAKU; or CHUKWUEMEKA is written as CHUKWEMEKA on the applicant's international passport while every other document bears the current spelling of her names: TB CERT, POF, CAS, IELTS, BSc CERT, WAEC, NECO ETC)

POF is more than 65days.
Her CAS was issued today.
she intends to use priority or if possible super-priority cus her school resumes on 20th September.

she has been using this passport for more than 3years now without noticing this error, although she has never traveled outside the country before. It's the passport she used as an ID to open her bank account containing her POF. Mind you, it's the same passport she submitted to her school during the application process, also she used the same passport for her TB test...

1) SHOULD SHE GO-AHEAD TO APPLY FOR HER VISA?
2) IF YES, WHICH OF THE NAMES SHOULD SHE USE?

Please we need your urgent response. This error was discovered as we are about to pay for her visa fee and IHS. Please what should we do?

I was about booking for Qatar Airways today and someone pointed my attention to the fact that Nigeria is on Qatar red list. That it might affect my transit through Doha to Manchester. I got confused cos I thought I've seen some people here, who has booked or travelled through that route.

Bikonu, anyone who has travelled using Qatar Airways or who has knowledge of this should pls help clear this doubt. Or is there a process once has to complete in order to use the airline.

One of my sisters who is a dependant got her Visa but with a "No work, No Business" on the vignette. I learnt it is usually "Restricted work" for dependants. Please what is the implication of this if any. And how can it be corrected.

Note that everyone’s situation is different and other questions can arise from your answer.

Except you've been told you will be interviewed, not everyone gets interviewed be hopeful.

APPLICATION: 26th July
BIOMETRICS: 26th July
TRANSFERED TO DMC 26th July
RECEIVED BY DMC: 26th July

Then the stress started.


1st non straightforward mail: 10th August
2nd non straightforward mail: 12th August
(I nearly mad)
Interview invitation: 16th August
Interview: 20th August.
Interview was over one hour. Call disconnected twice.
Application transferred to VAC: 26th August (when I tracked)
No decision email. As I didn't receive refusal email, I had hope.


I went to VAC on 27th, application was no where to be found. Waited till almost close of day before lady went through DHL envelope and found mine.

Opened to see visa smiling at me with a Printed Decision letter included in pack. When I held envelope first and felt the A4, I thought refusal letter. Only after leaving centre that collection mail came and tracking showed passport at VAC etc.

After 30 days of worry, I got my visa.
God dey!!!

To do walk-in same day in Ikeja you need to sleep around the TLS premises, wake-up by 1:30am, go to the gate, write your name in the list, then go and sleep. This is peak period! .... In my own case, I slept with the security man down at the preskin hotel junction. I was number one on the list

I’m aware I’ll still do the day 2 and pre departure COVID test, but I’m not sure about the quarantine if it’ll still be mandatory. Anyone with an idea, please tell me. I appreciate it in advance
