I have had issues working with many Nigerian web hosting company. Recently a friend suggested Globalhosting247 to me, I haven't used their service before and not sure of their authentic nature.

Please friends, I want to hear your experience with them for those who have used their hosting package before and those still using their service.

If possible let me know the list of websites they've hosted and their url so I can check them out.

Their service is ok and very affordable. I use them regularly. But I notice they have poor customer service. They don't reply quickly to emails and their live chat hardly works.

But I think overall their service is ok

I was researching and found GlobalHosting247.com amongst others. I ended up checking for reviews on them but found nothing. But I chose to risk it after doing some research.

I later suffered because of them.

I made enquiries about their domain and they promised that they offer ID protection (on WHOis) when I buy a domain name. This means that my information will either be masked or they would replace it with data of their own.

This would protect my privacy. And I bought 4 domain names at separate times, trusting that they would keep to their word.

I was later threatened with 2 sextortion mails because they didn't keep to their word. My data was exposed on WHOis and some evil actors used this to threaten me to send them money.

I handled the situation well even though it was my first time. I felt disgusted, pained and surprised at first but I did some research and did not reply to them.

This was because of GlobalHosting247's lies and false promises. I will transfer my domain names to a more reputable and transparent domain registrar.

They refused to mask my data asking for more money. Advice: do not use your real data when getting a domain else you might suffer.
