it’s normal in your first few weeks as you have few rides to your name ... a mistake or bad rating from one rider will affect it...just keep doing your thing, it will go back up

There's little fuel savings on the highway. You get the most of it when in traffic
On highway, it's best to drive the car with cruise control. Depressing the accelerator to 100km/hr for example and engaging the cruise control makes the vehicle drive on electric alone, thereby saving more fuel.

I'm sure many people don't know what this control module and button does, not to talk of using it.

You actually don't have to change the entire unit if bad. You can run tests and change the specific cells that have issues. Those cells can also be tested before purchase to know the good ones. And they are not as expensive as they used to be a long time ago. There are now sections in our local market dedicated to hybrid parts. More availability means lower prices.

Good luck doing that.
If u have a clock or touch light, radio or anything using multiple batteries of same strenght which u installed at the same time, u should know if they don't die at the same time, it's just a matter of short time before they will all pack up in turns...
Now, do u know how many cells are in an average hybrid battery pack? When u start buying one after the other, multiply price and stress of buying a single cell by maybe 25, 40, or 50 cells.
Then hope that each cell u are buying too will last u another 2yrs or so then u will understand what people mean by Hybrid cars being problematic.
Until u wear that shoe, u will never know how it pinches. Theory and practicals no be the same.

What good will cruise control do in city traffic?

Hybrid vehicles do not work on highway trips. They are only designed to work on inner city drives. On highway journeys your car needs to go fast and that is the opposite of what the hybrids were meant to do.

When you’re firing speed on the highway your cars computer will command the hybrid system to switch into rest mode and allow the full engines power to come into action. This in turn allows our car to go faster to keep up with the traffic on the highways. While in the city and there’s slow moving traffic or holdups the cars computer will signal the vehicles engine to go if while the hybrid system takes over to work your cars electronics and ac system making your car drive in low rpm modes.

So please do not judge the fuel consumption between a hybrid and internal combustion engine with highway journeys because hybrids are not designed to be used on highways at all. Your fuel consumption will be the same if you had a 1.6ltr hybrid and a 1.6ltr non hybrid engine. Where the hybrid will shine is when you compare them on a trip from say like lekki to badagry.

Interesting! But why is that our hybrid ambassadors are using the petrol cars na... If the car is that good (off course it's good) why then are they not using it? How can one be selling a product you/she doesn't make use of.

O wrong na

I'm using a 2004 corolla. Is it consuming alot?
5k fuel gives me just above 300km

I just did an average calculation of 3 weeks for my Corolla 2008 fuel comsuption and the result returned positive.
26mpg fir urban driving.

I did same with the Camry v6 I once used and the result returned negative with a shortage of about 8mpg.

Bruvvvvv!

This is even ride sharing o...I'm just watching videos of anoda one dat does doordash n UberEats...his own problem is the fact that he doesn't like dealing with people, so food delivery works better for him.
And he's making similar amount as the one doing ride share.
My own is how cool there cars are...this one is driving a 2018 Elantra embarassed
Great fuel economy and extremely good roads in dat Pennsylvania and he $16.7 per hour for 6hours...How about the ones in New York and other highbrow cities embarassed

NIGERIA IS FVCKED!

It's cool o, however they have their own peculiar cons.
Taxes, bills, rent. Imagine someone lives in a $600 or 1k a month house. That's 25% of his pre-tax income on rent alone. Pay this pay that. Before you know...
If you live in New York you'd most likely be paying more.

No na it's true guy... How can you claim you want people to succeed like you but you're not telling them openly with open mind what they should do or what they're doing wrong rather you tell them to make a research or DM.

That's to say there's something fishy going on (in davido's voice) in the strategy is... BAZ001 could it be sakamenji... Lol.

Well, For those who care to know shall should DM ooh but as for people in group 'A' we re satisfy with our earnings.but if they who don't want to openly share their strategy still go around to make use of the once we freely share here to improve in their earnings then may God Almighty have mercy on them.

New month starts on Wednesday. If you're still having problems grossing 120k a week. Send a mail with your issues to giveranonymous77 @ gmail. com

Our class is almost full. No new entries after September 1 as we'll be busy trying to gross 4,000,000naira between September and December 2021

When I was driving the corolla, I took it into one of the "big" auto shops for diagnosis and it had a cruise control error, dude was like nobody uses that here so I shouldn't bother, told him he's found someone who does use it here.
3rd mainland, against traffic, I fit put leg on top dashboard if I like sef. Unfortunately, people cannot stay in lane in Lagos

Sorry Sir, I don't really understand the mpg calculations. In plain terms, is the consumption of 30litres of fuel for 300 kilometers Normal or is the consumption Abnormal?

Mechanics will forever be the problem of most vehicles and not the vehicles themselves.

In as much as I like a Prius, my preferred hybrid is the Lexus RX 400h

Better mpg than a corolla/matrix, higher ground clearance, offline magnet.
