One thing is certain, proper football analysis and Chelsea fans should not be in the same sentence. Maguire is the most expensive CB and England number 1 CB, so what? How much do those speak to his quality? One of the most expensive CBs in the world? Is that his job as a CB? You mean the defender that constantly drives the ball with the outside of his foot? Continue. You mean Sancho that was playing in Bundesliga? A farmer's league? Who gives a shit about whether he's 21? History has shown us some players start out promising but then fade into the horizon before they can even get to their prime. Ofcourse Chelsea fans don't know that. Do you know Mkhitaryan's G and A totals at BVB before he joined Man Utd? Man Utd has the best tacking right back? Does that amount to being the best right back? A player that constantly takes himself out of position, and is almost a liability offensively? Unless ofcourse there's no traffic. Paul is better than Saul, and a world cup winner. De Gea has been one of the best GKs, Bruno is the best AM in the world. Maguire is the most expensive CB and England number 1 CB, one of the most offensive CBs in the game.

This in itself is enough answer for your post.

Fred was not a regular player for Man Utd. He played a few games, made horrible errors, and was relegated to the bench. He started featuring regularly due to injuries to other midfielders a couple of seasons ago. No notable midfielder has come in since then so he’s still keeping his place.

Bakayoko was also a regular starter until Chelsea bought Kovacic n co.

The coach is daft but this one is not on him. We are thin in midfield. We don’t have a DM or someone who can comfortably bring the ball out from the back and also protect the defense.
