I took my laptop to an engineer to replace my hard drive for me & he said he wanted to service my laptop for me.
I ageeed,
But after servicing, the screen stopped displaying,he said he tested another screen & it worked.
In this instance, would I b d one to pay for the screen replacement or him?

As far as the screen was working before you took it to him, then after servicing the screen stopped working...........If it were me, he'd definitely bare the cost.

1. He shouldn't have told you about it since it was displaying, he ought to fix it himself.

2. If the cost is too much for him to bear, well he can talk to you and if you have a good heart you can share the expense 70/30 or 60/40 depends.

Saying you should pay for the screen is just him trying to play smart which is a big turn off.

I know Sh1t can happen in this line of business if you're not careful in fact even if you're very careful Sh1t can still happen.

My laptop is hanging and in addition am also having multiple files duplication, I think its laden with virus or so cant really tell. Does anyone know where I can format the laptop maybe in computer village

Hi Guys I want to find out something about my Laptop.

Due to power outage my laptop battery was extremely low around 7% remaining so I switched it off and as soon as light was restored, I connected the charger and switch it back on and I was using it.

But as I was using it all of a sudden my laptop just tripped off. I checked everything I couldn't detect the problem.

The issues right now is that if I plug my charger and plug it to my laptop it wouldn't charge and the charger light would go dim.

Please which problem is this and can it be fixed?

If you connect the charger, the charger light will go dim probably (turn off)
If you're in lag I can fix it for you, it's a motherboard issue.

If you want original Windows you have to buy it.

When installing it, don't delete any partition, files will be save to Windows old.

Note that you will lose apps and drivers but videos, documents, pictures music etc will be save.

please help my system running on windows 10pro is stuck in the "choose an option" screen. It started after I tried resetting it and power supply went off.

it was the battery that give up few weeks ago and immediately I realize the battery is no longer working, I removed the battery and plug the system and switch it on.. The system switched on normal and I told myself I'll get a double cell battery dis month. But plugging the system yesterday evening and switch it on, the system is no longer booting to the homepage again... I'm not at home right now so I won't be able to type what the system is displaying.. But I press f1 yesterday and go to the settings..I can't see the hard disk..that's why I'm guessing it's the disk that also pack up. I'll do the screenshort tomorrow
