Bluetherapy:The best route for you should be through college. Most colleges gives you the work experience alongside theory . After which you’ll do some exams and then go back to complete your portfolio (installing not less than 5 boilers). Once portfolio is complete you submit and go back to college to do the exams (practical demonstration) …. Hope you have driving licence? 1 Like |

Hello house and our ancients, I'm happy to inform that me and my family are now in the abroad. Thank you for all your assistance, advice, suggestions, directions, responses etc. I'm open to any more directions you may have for me like how to get a UK SIM while still in quarantine. ( I tried to purchase for Smarty but the payment would go through even with Dollar card). And etc. 6 Likes |

d33types: I should think an IDP is dependent on the validity of the underlying driving licence. |

olaness: Sign up for Amazon Prime free delivery, use your naira card, and you can get one delivered to you tonight. The particular telco doesn't matter, you can always port when you decide which you prefer. If you have a student email address, Prime is "free". (Of course nothing is absolutely free, payment is taken in other ways) The telcos take a couple of days to process free sim cards and send them out in the post. 8 Likes 5 Shares |

Good morning everyone. I think this is the best place to ask this question. Is it possible to live in Dartford, and attend University of Hertfordshire? Because I’ve free accommodation in dartford, and was hoping to stay there to save cost for at least my first 3 months. I checked the distance online, and it’s about 2hrs 33mins by train. How feasible is this? And what’s the estimate I’ll spend on transportation in a month. |

I just checked the link now, this price stated here, is it valid for the whole of that day? Or only one trip, and I’ll need to buy another one when going back to dartford? Can I use Oyster card? Lexusgs430:

justwise: Thought you can switch once you have completed your academics and gotten a job offer from a sponsored employer. E.g, Student A completed studies etc in September and can now work full time till visa expires in January, however he landed an HCA job willing to sponsor and is way cheaper for a family of 4 than PSW, won't this be possible? |

Meanwhile my baby is now in school oo, I think we are more excited than the child sef. After relocating as a baby, I struggled with childcare, combining fulltime work with nursery runs etc we are now free from Nursery charges . Although we are porting to Morning and afternoon club cost but its a relief from full time childcare cost. I learnt a lot on this thread on things to search for when choosing schools, curriculum, school area and neighbourhood etc, so thank you to everyone sharing your ideas. Now to start researching gradually for grammar schools since most people said better to start early preparation. The new thing I discovered during my research aside OFSTED rating is a new comparative tool that shows the schools performance in English,Maths and Reading and comparing to Local and England averages. Basically, some schools can be outstanding but have just average performance in those KS1 and KS2 area. So for anyone prepping for next year or midyear application check the below link for more information and also feel free to disturb the Local Authority for information as well. I called severally oo to know my chances in my school preference. https://www.compare-school-performance.service.gov.uk/find-a-school-in-england 23 Likes 5 Shares |

izyblaze: With covid now not a lot of classes are in person. Yes staying in dartford is not so bad. You can then get a house maybe in december when prices are cheaper cos for now students are rushing it all and agents are not willing to compromise. Just reason how many in person classes you have and make your decision. 1 Like |
