They mailed my sponsor for scholarship 1st of sept and the mailed was replied 2nd of sept, they are yet to make decision on my visa…. My school resumes 5th of sept, I don’t understand can someone enlighten me won’t this affect my school resumption and yet to recieve my visa. Please who has experience this and was the result positive ?

Yes she should go ahead. It's a minor the Eco will over look. Since all other documents bear the full name. As for the POF, please let her not do more than her self. It's 28 days.

Has anyone travelled with airmaroc before? What’s their services like? I want to book directly from their website, just in case of anything, can I request a refund few days to my flight date? And can I land in Gatwick airport instead of Heathrow? Gatwick is closest to my place of quarantine.

CAS Issued: 6th of August 2021
Visa Application: 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th of August 2021 (Applied till about 3 am in the morning)
Biometrics: 9th of August 2021 (Walk-in at TLS Ikeja). Got there with my Family by 4 am and left by about 11:30 am.
Main Applicant: Priority
Dependants: Standard.
Main Applicants Passport Collection email 2:23 pm 17th of August 2021, Passport collected 17th of August 2:50 pm.
Dependants Collection email 3:56 pm 1st of September 2021, Passport collected 10 am 2nd of September 2021pm.

Many of those who applied as a family with the main applicant as priority and dependants as standard all got their passports on the same date as the main applicant. However, this was not our case and it was a very long 17 working days. Made several phone calls to UKVI and One Paid email during this period. I suspect the TLS guy in Ikeja didn't do something right as during the biometric he mentioned something about linking our application together. O Well, that's all in the past now.

Also noticed that the main applicant's decision was in Pretoria while the dependants were done in Abu Dhabi.

No Non-Straight Forward email.
No Interview.

Advice
A small tip for those who will be making calls to UKVI based on my own experience. Use Skype for this and load about $10. Calls from Skype to UK numbers is about $0.075. While I noted that using this process, my Debit Card was never charged for any call.

Except your middle name is patience, please do PRIORITY!!!.

Looking for recommendation. Where can i book a test in Lagos (Ikeja would be fine) and get the result the same day or the next?

I would like someone that has actually done this to recommend one for me with a barcode on the test results. Yes! I have a list of accredited centres in lagos but I can't call all of them to start asking price and what the results look like.

There is usually a late registration period.

Check your uni for deadline dates

A colleague has similar issues. Her account name for instance is Olisa Tobechukwu while her passport name is Olisa Tobechukwu Arinze. I think it could be an issue.

I have used it before. Flown from London to Lagos. Fastest total flight time for stopover flight. Affordable too. Don't expect too much in terms of services particularly if you have a layover. Be sure of your transport arrangement from Gatwick. I had to pay fine, cos I thought I could use a card accepted in London to pay for my train ride. I didn't know Gatwick was in another borough. I dropped 40 Quid. Still painful.
