An adage says "people easily forget your achievement but remember your failures". Tell me in all honesty a single Nigerian that believed we will qualify for the 2018 World cup in a group that includes Algeria, Cameroon, and Zambia. At the World cup, we lost to the finalist (Croatia) and a very good Argentina team in the last minute but defeated an in form Iceland. So, what are you talking about? Yes, he made some mistakes but no one is perfect! Your argument to sack Rohr holds no ground! He defeated Benin at home, a team that has not lost at home in 16 years. He qualified us for another AFCON. The only manager to have done that since 2013.

It was not shocking for Nigeria to qualify from a group that includes a weak Cameroonian team , a Zambian team we have always beaten and an Algerian team we can go toe to toe with. Stop hyping Rohr as if he won the word cup. Qualifying a team for world nations cup is not magic....we easily parade the best or second best team in Africa. And , Rohr didn't discover any of our good players...he only discovered Aribo( who is easily replaceable) , Ebuehi ( easily replaceable ) ...who else did whitey discovered ? He is riding on the hard work of our local coaches

Bros, the best thing to do is to simply ignore those mugus! The fact that anyone is mentioning Oliseh as a potential Rohr replacement shows how ignorant they are! The same way you’d look at them whenever they rant about “all the talents at his disposal’. Which talents? Do we have more talents than Algeria, Senegal, CIV, or even Morocco and Egypt sef.

They want to send us back to the time when we kept missing back to back AFCONs. And by the way, aside from the Super Eagles, which other Nigerian national team is doing well? For the first time in a long time, Nigeria failed to qualify for the Olympics soccer event in both men’s and women’s teams. Our U21 team hasn’t done well in a long time either. The only team working is the Super Eagles but some enemies of progress want to quench it as well.

When the going was tough where were the Nigerian coaches.
Oliseh almost destroy the team. He ran away and left the team in chaos.
When Rohr came the team was in chaos.
He stabilized the team and impressively qualified a team that missed out on back-to-back AFCONs to a World Cup and back-to-back AFCONs.
Now you want another person to reap the reward of his hard work, never!
If you no like Rohr you can go and hug transformer. Rohr is here to stay!

i dont understand. A match involving the national team should be
broadcasted on local stations like nta, galaxy etc.
There should be no need for satellite since it is a national match
IT SHOULD BE A LAW. FORGET ABOUT MONETARY CONSIDERATIONS. THIS IS A NATIONAL ISSUE FOR GOD'S SAKE
ALSO, ALL NPFL MATCHES (OUR LOCAL LEAGUE) HAS TO BE SHOWN BY OUR LOCAL TELEVISION STATIONS
LIKE CHANNELS, SILVERBIRD ETC. I WONDER WHAT SUPERSPORT HAS TO DO WITH THIS.
EVEN TOGO DE BROADCAST THEIR LEAGUE AND NATIONAL MATCHES TALK LESS OF
A FOOTBALLING COUNTRY LIKE NIGERIA WITH A GLOBAL REPUTATION IN FOOTBALL

Small thing they will be calling oliseh, siasia, amuneke...bla bla...aside westerhorf and keshi, no other coach has achieved more than rohr in super eagles in terms medal..
It took westerhorf 3Afcons to get it right with super eagles..the first Afcon he disgraced with a 5-1 thrashing from Algeria and still lost to same Algeria in the final.
Took Nigeria again to next edition and got beaten at d semifinals there leading us to 3rd place medal(if it was Nigerians of today, they will be screaming sack him sack him) but the NFA retained him, and went for his last Afcon and won it In 1994...that's simply building with your team..all these doesn't mean we were not having poor match days....but Nigeria of today one small draw or loss boom sack him sack him sack him and they will be clamoring for ekuke coaches simply bcoz they won age grade competitions....
I personally will tag Keshi(RIP) Afcon win as a huge fairy tale/fluke Afcon win...you can't succeed on a longterm basis with ekuke /otapiapia squad hence he couldn't qualify for the next edition(Kudos to him though for bringing us the 3Afcon)...
All those gist of:
Amunike qualify Tanzania after 100yrs
Keshi qualify Togo for the first time...bla bla bla are simply example of "anything can happen in football"...it does mean does coaches can replicate does feat for the next straight editions...
Rohr first tenure
Qualified 9ja to Afcon and got a bronze, still came back again in second trial and did same thing, whether you ppl like it or not this super eagles will brush aside opponents next year 2022 and get to d final

Chidera Ejuke has been nominated for Player of the Month for August by his Russian club CSKA Moscow as he continues to justify his 12 Million Euros price tag.

In the month under review, the exciting winger scored twice to emerge the club’s leading scorer.

Such form has already been rewarded with a recall to the Super Eagles for 2022 World Cup qualifiers against Liberia and Cape Verde.

His club are now sixth on the table with nine points from six matches.

The army club are five points behind champions Zenit Saint Petersburg.

I also suspect that if any of Oliseh, Siasia or Amunike is given the Super Eagles to coach, they can help them to at least a Semi final finish at the next world cup. What do you all think?
