mamatee2: Congratulations to those that recently received PPR and to the hopefuls, may the Lord grant your heart desires. Stay hopeful and prayerful. Your PPR is on the way! It will surely end in praise for what God cannot do does not exist!
Meanwhile, my daughter's (13 years old) PPR dropped this morning to the glory of God.
I applied for study permit along with her on May 3, 2021 but forgot to include a consent letter from my husband for her to travel along with me. So when my PPR dropped on Aug 24 (I already shared all the details and timeline in the previous thread), hers didn't drop, but instead I got a request letter for the Non Accompanying Parent Authorization Letter to travel.
I uploaded the letter on the 25th Aug and the wait began...I actually thought it wouldn't take more than a day or 2 because her eligibility started on that 24th Aug, so I believed it was just the authorization letter that was delaying the approval.
I sent webforms and emails but received the usual auto responses.
Yesterday, I sent an email to nairobi and I added "PRIORITY" to the subject of the email. (Note: I did this because I read on their contact page that they are currently focusing only on a list of priority enquiries one of which is my case - "You need to submit documents requested by one of our officers". Please, I'm not advising this except your case is on the priority enquiries.
As soon as I sent the email, I got the attached response...this isn't the usual response. When I saw "Missions abroad", I thought to myself, Mission ke...I hope I've not complicated things. I kept hoping and praying. Then her PPR dropped very early this morning.
Thank you to everyone who contributed and are still contributing to this platform. You will surely be rewarded by the great rewarder himself. God bless you all!
congratulations. He that started the good work has completed it. 2 Likes |

Stop at CMS and take a bus going to EKO HOTEL. Stop at the last bus stop and take a mini shuttle along Ajose Adeogun, tell them u will stop at Bashorun junction. From Bashorun Junction use Google map to locate Qlife. That's all! Benquip:
1: take your international passport with you. 2: Take bus heading to cms. Then take Eko hotel, when you get to eko hotel you can just order taxify to the venue #500 or if there's bike you can bike it 3 Likes |

Firstly , I graduated with a poor grade at the university ( 3rd class ) im 30yrs .
What are the chances of getting a Canadian student visa ?
i plan on either of this options ;
1.applying for a Post Graduate degree .
2.masters programme
OR
3.starting Bsc afresh
i humbly require you honest advice on the best option to go for.

Congrats to your FAM Faithyyyyy: IT'S A PPR ALERT!!!!
I applied for my study permit last year and got it within a month. Now I am a proud graduate of UOttawa.
Background story to a very complex application.
My younger brother finished WAEC in 2008 ( yes 13 years study gap). Aged 31 years old. somehow his Bachelor's degree didn't get any transcript so we couldn't do anything about it but opted for a two years diploma program. (ordinary diploma).
We started the process for my younger brother in January this year and got denied within a month. I have been his sponsor throughout the process so I had to provide proof of support and sponsorship.
Reasons : Personal assets and financial assets Travel History Purpose of visit
How can I be helping others with their applications and enjoying Canadian education when my brother is getting denied! Never! Never!
We got back to the drawing board, worked on his living expenses, proof of funds, home ties, literally everything explaining all the visa officers concerns with a well presented sop ( I didn't study English for nothing). GCMS notes didn't come until two months later so I just used the visa officers concerns to address the refusal because no time.
New application: April 23rd medical request : August 20th Medical passed August 26th PPR and approval August 30th.
Can you get a study permit with a 13 year study gap? Can you apply for an ordinary diploma ? Can you get an approval after a refusal?
I am here to tell you that with Faith and prayers all things are possible. Most importantly put in the best work on your study permit application after a refusal. If you need to consult and pay for services don't be stingy to your future. No one will do all the hard work for you free of charge.
I will keep giving back and reviewing sop's for free because I have benefited from this platform but please note that I WILL NOT work on your study permit application free of charge.
Find attached the timeline for your encouragement.
PS he doesn't even know its been approved because I have the log in details. I can't wait to surprise him with this good news.
meanwhile let me do and bring my dear mama over too. Our families must jappa with us in Jesus name |
