It will massively help during UKVI interviews. Know you could be called for interviews scheduled or not.

If you arent ready let them know you are not in a good position to respond. If you do respond and you know you have messed up, when you are asked if there is anything else you'd like to say, put out a disclaimer stating, for instance 'Even though my mind is busy at the moment I have done my best to respond to this interview' or a similar line. This may be helpful if you need to do AR, if a negative decision is made based on the interview.

I think PhD admission you can start anytime of the year since is pure research. I have deferred less tha five times this year. I think there is still time. Peapare for priority sha.

28th August : Hubby's admission was confirmed after series of interviews.

Tuition deposit confirmed and reflected on his student portal this morning.

School resumes: 7th Oct

Programme: PhD

Yet to receive CAS/questionnaire, we heard it may likely take couple of days/weeks to a month.

Should we be worried with the timing, because it very likely we'll be in Nigeria when classes resume 7th of Oct.

Will the delay affect our Visa application in any way?

PhD admission is yearly, so if he defers nah till October 2022 which is farrrrr.

We've been reading through the threads and beginning to panic.

There's an option to join classes online, he's considering that and then join physical classes later in October when Visa runs is finalised.

I don't know the whole context around the questions you are asking, so it's a bit difficult to say yes or no.

Do you have your CAS already? Are you bidding time for PoF? Is this 27th of September deadline for Enrolment in the course?
The 6th of September is in a few days. If that's the date on your CAS as start date and you may not meet up with visa application, it's better you let your school's International Compliance and Admission Team know, they may decide to issue you a CAS with a late course start date, or they may ask you to go ahead with you visa application.

It means the latest time to be in the UK is 27th of September. You will not be allow to enter the UK from 28th of September.

You are right. Teesside university mandatory questions is to prepare you. As an applicant, it’s your responsibility to know how to answer these questions just so you can defend yourself. Those are valid questions. Once you applied, you have to be prepared at all time.

Hi Guys! I need help regarding my visa application. I already submitted and my application was refused on the ground that they are aren’t sure I will actually study when I get to the UK.

I was interviewed twice… first interview was not scheduled while the second one was. The questions they asked were 90% similar. And TBH guys, the first interview wasn’t good enough but I quickly prepared myself for the second interview but unfortunately they didn’t use that to assess me.

Now the issue is I am being asked to request for administrative review which is kinda new to me… I would appreciate assistance on

1. How to make a valid argument in my review
2. Or should I just forget it and focus on a new application
3. What are the implications if I don’t review the decision
4. And may I ask what is the success rate of administrative review…
5. Can I still apply at Teesside or a different school would be better for January admission

I have more questions but let me stop here first…

People with 10 refusals were even given visa . Something must be wrong and I believe you deserve an answer from them since July . if they will give you or not. .. I think you should write them a proper paid mail about how you feel about the application. I can’t imagine waiting that long and even paid for extra service .

I have written and called, yet nothing. It remains for me to go to British High commission to beg them to release my passport. I’m really at a loss, no call for interview nothing.
