Anago55: It's like you didn't read the article? Lemme post here again Residents in states in the South-East are groaning over the sit-at-home order by the Indigenous People of Biafra which they said continues to cripple socio-economic activities in the region. I would love to accept your offer and come see things out myself but I fear that the erosion battered roads leading to your village might be a death sentence. Thanks but no thanks. 2 Likes |

I see a lot of foolish comments all out of hatred for the south easterners. There are not more than four objective assessments of the issue in all the posts. 1. There is no place that freedom come free. Not even the voting that everyone that is 18 today came free. People were jailed for it and even killed. Not even the Bible that everyone read today came free, at a point in history you have to hide to go to church or you get killed. 2. Civil Disobedience, Declaration of parallel public holiday and other peaceful means can be adopted when you are struggling they all have their goals and consequences on both the oppressors and the oppressed 3. Take it from me or not people don’t read beyond what they are taught in school. Only a few read vastly that’s the reason for all this trash we call posts here 4. Ethnicity, religion have blinded the youths even the few who are widely read, exposed and know the crux of the issue suffer under the weight of this ethnicity and religion 5. Lastly there is no method that IPOB will adopt that other ethnic nationalities in Nigeria will welcome. First they were using peaceful protest but were shot at in broad day light, then they resorted to force to protect their place then they were still castigated. Now they are using sit at home still people are criticizing 6. The only thing I disagree with IPOB is burning government properties and killing servicemen 7. I don’t think BIAFRA is realisable but there is nothing wrong in standing up to an aggressor that the federal government in all their mights cannot stand up to. |

Commentor: Someone asked: which economy is losing through the sit at home in the east, after all, Nigeria’s economy is DEAD. Most businesses were closed in Yoruba land during Abiola June 12 protests. Worse, most non Yoruba people living in the southwest region fled the region in mass. Don’t forget. |

gidgiddy:All of a sudden, Yoloba Muslims and their bandits masters had united to complain about a sit at home given and loved by Eastern people.. It is not in your region why complaining? Your federal government recorded a deficits of Trillions last month only. This month own go shoke and choke una wella.

They read but only action books. They are kids who still dont know why China can never engage in conventional war with America. Sometimes, I dont understand why the most gullibles comes from the most intelligent part of Nigeria? It's actually due to selfish interests. It happens in yorubaland too but we tend to quickly amend and cut off anyone going against the majority. That's why one our commander is currently on walking stick without notice from above. So sitting at home is to pass message to who, to Nigeria right? They are watching the foolishness of the nyamiri because it doesn't bother them at all. Since it is only Igbo they can die of hunger its never a serious issue, the region can be use to graze cattle. Cattle is more important to Nigeria now you know that, not sitting at home of SE It will become a national issue if COW started sit at home protest Since 1967 igbo issues is irrelevant to FG. A typical fulani man still believe the SE region belongs to them, so you can't stop the owner of the land from grazing, if you make pim they behead you. You guys should continue with the stupidity of the sit at home Don't bring that nonsense to our region because we are not part of the struggle. |

Rumundele: What bothers me is that they refuse to.learn from their mistakes. That flat part of their head have a divine and hereditary meaning. Its not just about a head being flat , seems something misses in the brain box of the ones with flat head cos not all of them.have flat heads. Those without flat heads reason differently, if not all... at least 82%. Check our historical south east heroes and fathers. I also think the bloodshed caused by the name BIAFRA is too much and it have a spiritual impact on the development and orderliness of that region. Ojukwu saw this with regrets before he gave up the ghost. |

gidgiddy: Arrant nonsense!!! A day of sit-at-home cannot diminish profit. Besides majority of easterners do not open on Sundays. One of the major problems facing Africans is cowardice or the fear of unknown. The jackasses want a better country than Nigeria but who will bear the cat. |

Emperormartin: Enjoying what? People are afraid of what IPOB hoodlums will do to them if they open their shops and you are saying enjoyment. Most people are complaining bitterly but are afraid. IPOB is using terror and threats of terror to enforce followership and compliance and this is not quite different from Boko Haram, ISIS and Taliban modus operandi. Is IPOB using bondage to acquire 'freedom' for our people? Is fear the new normal in this new Biafra? Tufiakwa! Aru!!! Chukwu aju! 1 Like |
