Then sometime last month, they made it a full blown lockdown like don't leave your house. Your can't even go into another province.

So there isn't much to write about or pictures to take when you're indoors

More Monikers would make picture threads if troll monikers stopped ruining threads with bitter comments and visa questions already answered in how-to threads.
My mind is made up to share my vacations and also, a Junior cousin who hasn’t set foot out of Naija is arriving soon to begin Uni in next month. I’m one cousin the elders appoint to take newly arriving family under my wing to get them get settled (opening bank account, preparing accommodations, getting mailbox, etc.). Pictures, info, and steps might be useful to other monikers coming over but I’m not sure. I’ll kindly make one if requested.
Monikers who make travel threads, mods, & monikers enjoying them should chase trolls away.

YouTube links are nice but those of us posting from abroad should remember most readers in Naija have limited data. It’s sweeter to post videos and provide plenty descriptions and pictures too. MsTravelingDiva does a sweet job of this.

For me .... I love to know how ordinary people go through their daily lives in other regions/cultures locally and internationally. I don't have the tolerance to create an interactive thread .... wayyyy too many children or childish people on NL. Where do I go to get a visa? ... How did you get there?... what airline takes you there?... can I get a job?.. how much do they pay? There are several visa and how to threads in this section but yet too many pepper the posters with questions on how to japa.... thereby derailing the thread. If you tell them what they don't want to hear... then you are discouraging them... or they bomb you with insults. Personally.... would like to create an interactive thread... but ... have to think long and hard. The atmosphere is not good... not encouraging.

OriginalSly, I haven’t reviewed many travel threads yet but your New York thread is one that I did and it’s one of the most honest, intricately detailed, and pictured travel threads on Nairaland. The monikers you described here are the same types that ruin fun threads with unnecessary insults and redundant questions that are easy to find answers to. It makes me angry when those things make an OP abandon a thread. I’m hoping more monikers that are enjoying help keep good things going by tagging mods and cutting off attention to trolls and monikers too lazy to read through the info others have worked to give them.
