Hi Dear, Iodo2000 is the third person I've heard of now that got bfp at Joje after four previous bfn in other places. They seem really good. I just want to encourage you to if possible, give them a trial as well while processing the adoption side. You may just be lucky with them too. I have both registered n visited them. They seem quite impressive.

My Sis, If the process abroad won't be that stressful, is better you process it there. Adoption here is something else. I applied for mine last year during COVID and I haven't heard from them. on the day of house inspection, 2 women came and was telling us we need to give all those in their offices envelop (about 8 oooo) and that their boss own should be bulky, we did all that and by the time they were leaving, they said is not by inspection but whom we know (I should try to influence it by knowing those in power especially their Commissioner and SSG, can you imagine that.

That is sad! So Nigerians brought in corruption into adoption? Wonderful! May God answer you soon mama

I recently stumbled on the page and sadly it was after my first Ivf cycle which was bfn.I have been reading from page 1 still reading lots of pages lol and learning alot I wish I found this thread before my treatment.

I want to go for another round and by his grace I know God has done it,I read about changing ones diet to lots of fruits and vegetables ,eating pineapple core ,walnuts and also trying out accupunture.

Please mummies in the house how effective is accupunture and what is the sucess rate of olive branch.I am thinking of trying this treatment there.

I took the regular Ubiquinone i.e regular COq10 puritan's pride brand 100mg

Dr's best ubiquinol is a very good brand and their products always comes highly recommended

What I did in this cycle? I took FHPro for women for 5months (4 containers, wasn't consistent at some point), Vit E and metformin for 2months preceding the IVF month. Dr. Joje ask me to add the metformin due to high AMH, it was 11. point something. Ironically, this is the only cycle I didn't take prednisolone as I wasn't giving and also took my bath.

Cost: I paid #500k for the procedure (as a PCOS woman). I was put on low dose Folliculin (150 I.U) all through my stimm. Additional cost was #100k for ICSI and #65k for Test.

A friend of mine Amh test was normal but got additional med of #250k. So, additional cost will depend on your medical history.

Run pregnancy test to eliminate pregnancy or threatened miscarriage

If that is settled, it's best to arrest the period with birth control based on doctors advice.


Wait for a fresh cycle after the second cycle. U have a clean bill of health to carry on with the procedure.

Please check for infection

Good morning.Research into Mbanefo fertility hospital Enugu.My sister did hers there and iv heard some good things about them though as is consistent with most Nigerian health centres their bed side manners is rubbish.They will get the job done to the best of their ability but don’t expect them to be empathetic like hold your hand through the journey and say everything will be okay.
