Anyone gotten transit transit from KLM recently?..trying to do london- Lagos but understand I need a transit visa |
Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 2) by Lexusgs430: 3:42am On Sep 05, 2021 |
Santa2: You don't generally need a transit visa..... You might do if : - You don't sync your flights correctly - Your flight experiences unexpected delays In both cases, you can sleep at the airport (hard chair's available, toilets, bathrooms and restaurants)..... WiFi and charging ports also available, plus very long corridors, to undertake your strolling exercises......... 1 Like |

justwise:It doesn't work that way and I figured this is common knowledge. Graduate jobs come in-term to resume upon programme completion. |

Lexusgs430: @Lexusgs430..Na man you be, just got of the phone with klm, and they confirmed that if flight is through only Amsterdam no need for ATV(airport transit visa) but if it passes through France, then one needs a transit visa. This saves me a whole lot of stress and kudi.. thanks a lot. 3 Likes 1 Share |

confistified: CDG is so big that 1hr would be like 5 secs to connect your flight. I always advice 2hrs transit at least. I missed my connecting flight once after a good hour running around in CDG. 1 Like 1 Share |

confistified:it is required. You need to apply at least 7 days before travel date. That means confirmed flight ticket and passport with extra validity of 3 months after the day you will transit. Call klm or air france nigeria Make the application via vfs |

harrrry: Depends on where you live in Bristol - if driving from the South yes, otherwise you'll be spending a lot of time in traffic. Anywhere close to Temple Meads and the rent will be similar to renting in Bath, add train tickets and you'll be better off in Bath. Places like Keynsham, Radstock, Peasedown St John, Midsomer Norton are outside Bath with very good and regular bus links. There are trains from Keynsham too. |
