While some organizations like UN, AU, etc and countries are busy condemning it. They don't know or understand the feeling of the people and what they are passing through through this cruel leadership style of most so-called African leaders. Nigeria present government is a typical example |

In so much that democracy was supposed to by a govt of the people for the people and by the people because the people put the govt there but the reverse have been the case in many African and other third world countries. Imagine the civil president of Guinea, Mali and other nation whose leaders have been disposed by the military leading as autocratics. This always make the military a welcomed saviours even if they won't be in any way different. 1 Like

In moments like this, it's important to ask some pertinent questions about the characters of the coupists, the reasons for the coup, and most importantly, the SPONSORS of the coup. Otherwise you will be on the street celebrating a coup that will enslave your people and destroy your country. Several French West African countries have witnessed turmoil recently. One can't actually say if these are as a result of chronic french induced bad leadership, which is endemic in these areas or as a result of a larger French strategy to eradicate the aging old guards and impose new political dynasties.. It's also pertinent to note that Guinea is the unofficial "home" country of the fulanis. And irrespective of the fact that they have had reasonable political successes across West Africa, they have always been beaten back mercilessly at "home". The last presidential election is a very typical example. The fulani candidate was messed up by the guy that was just removed... With Buhari awash with Petro dollars and desperate to create a fulani hegemony across the West African region, one has to first understand the ethnic makeup of the top echelon of the coupists, to be able to understand what's going on, irresspective of the official statements from Abuja and other fulani run West African states. |

Rugaria:You may be right. However, democracy in the African continent is never different from democracy because many of the leader are inherently evil with sit -tight mentality. Some even undemocratically attempt to spurn or subvert the constitution to continually perpetuate themselves or families in office. OBJ attempted it with the failed 3rd term bid. Mobutu/Laurent Gbagbo/Yaya Jammie all tyrannically wanted to held their countries to ransome until the military intervene.Imagine Omar Biyick still ruling Cameroon till now.Why wouldn't the military intervene? |

Prosperous111:Nigeria will not jubilate , rather they will arm themselves and go after the Kinsmen of the coup plotters |

jimyjames:Just as the relatives of the April 22 1990 coup plotters were persecuted instead of the otherwise. What they wanted to prevent then is what that is plaguing this forced but failed contraption today in a worst form. |
