Sainty92: Mr Sainty, That we prefer Ebuehi in the right-back position, does not in any way insinuate a detest for the versatile Aina. This is a matter of preference. The predilection so expressed is not a blind one as the reasons for such have been supplied. |

Musa will very likely start. Know this and know peace. Onuachu won't start. It will likely be Simon, Musa and Kalu behind Osimhen. Personally I would prefer a trio of Simon, Ejuke and Kalu behind Osimhen because we need as much creativity as we can squeeze out from the available options to support Victor in CV. Musa is more of a runner and Victor doesn't need another runner. But shaa, we should just get ready to see Musa lead our lads out tomorrow. Almost inevitable. Midfield will definitely have Shehu pending any last min change. Question is who pairs Shehu? Bonke or Kingsley. Time will tell. The backline picks itself except that Collins will keep his place at LB. Ebuehi, Awaziem and Omeruo will come in to replace the lads from the first game. fabyom: 2 Likes |

TheSuperNerd: According to owngoalnigeria, kalu will play the no 10 attacking midfield role. I have always thought that either ejuke or kalu can play as attacking midfielders but I was not sure but it seems Rohr is seeing things my way. As per kalu, he is underrated. He can play a lot of posulitions. U remember his performance in afcon qualifiers against south Africa where he played as a wing back. He was imperious in that match. If kalu can at 10 as I have always suspected then it shows why he is such a valuable player. |

Yeah, Kalu as a makeshift #10 looks like a fine possibility. I think he has the skillset and technicality to execute the role. His Wingback Performance vs SA (away) remains fresh in my memories. A truly valuable player. But imagine what could happen if we had Ejuke on the left, Kalu as the #10 and Simon on the right with Osimhen up top. These four playing together from the start hold more creative and goalscoring potentials for me than a Musa-Kalu-Simon + Osimhen quartet but we hope things can still click. Unconfirmed reports out of Cape Verde are saying Kalu and Ebuehi tested positive for Covid. Are we sure this isn't another one of those "Lori iro" moments just to weaken our lineup ahead of Tomorrow? Time will tell if this report stands. 1 Like |

In a front 4? You mean who tracks back. Simon and Kalu are adept at tracking back. So it won't be a problem. Osimhen himself is a workaholic and helps out too off the ball. Ejuke tracking back is W.I.P. Sportilitica: 1 Like 1 Share |

Well, that's down to Rohr. Baba slept while circumstances came upon us. The actual Chemistry isn't there yet but that front 4 hold huge potentials if given the chance. Or do you think we have tried Kalu behind Osimhen before? Yet Rohr plans to do just that tomorrow pending confirmation of the covid news. Also, we would be pairing Shehu with a new midfielder tomorrow. Are we going to pull back and wait until we have "perfected" things? So you see. We have no choice. Sportilitica: 1 Like 1 Share |

I think we can cope on the defensive side bonnke and shehu are natural DMs it's the creativity that has me worried with the potential unavailability of Samuel Kalu that further degrades our offensive weaponry. Maybe Simon or Onyekuru will have to do a job for us tomorrow. Sportilitica: |

Yeah, same thing it's showing too when I made a few checks but I decided to drop the Official graphic shown by the Super Eagles official handle themselves because they indicated that it's 4pm but 2pm Naija time. So it's one of 2 things. Perhaps the 5pm we see is the local time in CV which would mean 3pm Naija time. Or the 5pm could just be a mistake and it's actually 4pm meaning 2pm Naija time. In the end, we know say we get game for afternoon. chrisooblog: 1 Like |
