I think the Defensive side would be fine for the most parts. Rohr knows how to set up a team defensively and we hope tomorrow is no exception from a Defensive standpoint. Plus, Omeruo, Awaziem, Shehu and Ebuehi (if covid reports are false) are no strangers in the Defensive dept. All of them have major tournament experience as well.

It is rather our creative force in the offensive department that holds great interest and concern for me.

Sportilitica:

Hopefully we can pull it off. I am a bit worried about the defensive part of the midfield

Situation report: Super Eagles in CV

Okay, gents and ladies.... looks like it's true as another reliable source confirms it.

But Kalu and Ebuehi are taking a second test to clear all doubts. So we wait.

That subzero's reaction to someone else quote bafffles me,he was no way mentioned in ur opinion.

However,if we r able to come out with a draw,
That wld b a very good result irrespective of our foreign based stars
Some times the league u play don't matter but how good and how compact the team.

Our entire midfield and including 4 of our first team players won't be available .
That will give them a psychological boost to try beat us.
lets just hope we win even with 1 goal margin

Bro blame rohr partly for our midfield woes
Just imagine currently we have only 3 midfielders in camp for a coach that know that cape verde is on a red list should have done better invite alhassan and nwobodo, amoo etc won't be bad

But anyway i understand like u said the team chemistry and the stadia gonna play a role

I just believe we'll pull through been just scared of the possibility that there will not b connection with the midfield and attack but if Rohr is wise he should play Ejuke as an AM/10 tomorrow

We don't have a problem with tomorrow's game..worst result is a draw. Rather; spare a thought for the coach of Cape Verde. How does he prepare for tomorrow's game? He is facing an almost different eleven. This will play to our advantage tomorrow.

Rohr does not trust Henry and Ejuke yet! Kalu is tested and trusted at the National level!

Until he goes another okwaraji for us right

Yeah, same thing it's showing too when I made a few checks but I decided to drop the Official graphic shown by the Super Eagles official handle themselves because they indicated that it's 4pm but 2pm Naija time.

So it's one of 2 things.

Perhaps the 5pm we see is the local time in CV which would mean 3pm Naija time.

Or the 5pm could just be a mistake and it's actually 4pm meaning 2pm Naija time.

In the end, we know say we get game for afternoon. grin

5pm is what I'm seeing on score sites.

I have finally finished serving my short term nairaland ban. Yesterday, I was unexpectedly banned by the antispam Bot for reasons unbeknownst to me. I have sent emails to the mods inquiring about the ban, but to no avail.

A player of that Calibre who is always certain to score every weekend couldn't make it to the England Squad. Wow

I think we should pair Moffi and Osimhen tomorrow that should take care of the creativity, then we can afford to play the carpenters behind them make it a hustling game

Very sad, one can not even enjoy African football.
We wonder why we struggle at major international tournaments. Organisation is key to success

After Senegal and Algeria, Ivory Coast is one of the toughest countries to face in Africa right now. Even without Zaha, Pepe, Amad, and Kessie, see the way they are dominating the Cameroonians.

In the knockout rounds, we should hope not to meet them. Any of Ghana, Egypt, Mali or Dr Congo groups would be the best draws for us. Ivory Coast will likely make it out of this group.
