The North and some states in the East will oppose the new VAT Ruling. After Vat collection by state the next should be decentralization of the Army and the police.
So,Ekiti with the worst IGR among the southern states would not oppose the new VAT ruling?

Only those in the East?

You're absolutely ignorant!

Lagos has been the capital of Nigeria since amalgamation in the 1800's and most investments by both federal government, foreigners and all Nigerians have been channeled there.

Who is talking about ibadan? The world's largest slum settlement and a dead zone?! Building a television station before France is just fantasy, it means nothing in the grand scheme of things. Where is France today and where is ibadan today? Where was Dubai yesterday and where is Dubai today??

Dey there make pant dey wear you!!
ibadan is generating more igr nd Vat than any state in erosion land.
South east is actually the dead zone cheesy

Very typical of you igbos to always try to discredit any data that does not favour your false narratives. Oga, if you dispute the official data, carry out your own research and document its findings in line with standard practice, then we can talk. You can't expect educated and rational people to just accept numbers you pull out of your ass by fiat as fact, just because you dispute the official data due to your own political bias. You lots can only circulate such crap amongst your fellow ipob compatriots. In the real world you won't be taken seriously.

He said that Northerners are first class citizens of Nigeria and must be treated as such .... If there is a job employment opportunity, it must be North in slot one, two and three and if no northerner is qualified , then any other tribe CAN be taken ON A CONTRACT basis

Have seen that, not pointing blames, it’s getting clearer everyday that everything is breaking down

We'll take care of our brothers in Ekiti, worry about your biafla republic. In fact, the omoluabis in Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Ondo will willingly share with our not so able brothers in Ekiti and Osun state.

We'll stretch it and agitate for a restructured Nigeria along ethnic lines where we only share with only Yorubas in the west, Kwara and Kogi west only. The rest of you parasitic being can go to hell.

Don't mind him, the north is in a better position than the potopoto republic, our problem with many of you is that you allow the little advantage the centralized Nigeria to get the better of you.

You allow you hubris and greed to make the accommodating Yoruba to start question your motives the moment your leaders support and continue to protect Fulani terrorists wrecking havoc in our land.

Let assume VAT is plotical. What's IGR of Kano and Kaduna to those states? Our major problem is tribalism, and lack of knowledge. It won't take u anything to research b4 u make erroneous comments. It's sad to see Nigerians doing unhealthy competition and blacks fighting themselves. It's shameful

Lol..

You spew out datas and pick and choose which ones favor your narrative?

You have the SE as the second worst region on IGR generation...

Did you bother to reflect on the fact that the SE has 5 states, compared to some regions with SEVEN states..

Keep deluding yourselves..

Lagos state has the lion share of your IGR and we all know why that is so..

Remove them and compare 5 to 5 with SE and tell me how much better than the SE you are..

And the funny thing is that about half of the Lagos IGR is being provided by SEners, and about 70% of Rivers state IGR is being provided by SEners also.

Proper economic planning and the installation of seaports at Oseakwa in Anambra and Obuaku in Abia, will quadruple the IGR of the SE states.

Adding Igbo areas in the SS stretching from Obigbo, to Opobo and Ubani, to Ogwashiuku to the SE will further help the Igbo economy.

Igbos will automatically be bestowed with the title of states with the largest IGRs

But chairman, how can IGR of towns and cities in SS states cumulate to IGR of SE States?

I wonder what you have to say about oyo and ogun state, even ondo is higher than Enugu . With all these dumb bragging your region is still the poorest in the region. Building mansions in village with fvcked up roads to stroke your weak egos don't generate IGR. No reasonable person would want to go invest in your region seeing how you people go about destroying people's business cos they refuse to follow you IPOB order. I can't wait for Nigeria to be divided so you can carry your businesses back to biafuro. Yoruba land needs to breath.

Oga forget this IGR things you are seeing, South East don't tax their citizens like other western states, take a look at Imo State, that state is sitting in a mouth watering IGR, example Addex petroleum, Chevron, Shell, Water Smith petroleum and Refinery, Saplet etc. Hospitality industry, Consumption tax and retail stores, the rest, now go to Abia State, and Anambra state they have numerous local industry, the largest SME's in West Africa, largest market's in Africa etc.... This states with proper revenue collection structure will never be broke

The leeches in both regions will oppose the ruling. We already saw who betrayed the anti grazing ban in the south first.....

The funny thing is that if northern leaders for a minute can actually get their acts together they'd see rapid development in terms of igr in their region. If an economic partnership that is beneficial to both parties in the south west and the north is entered into both regions will see development. Build a cargo railway that connects the north and south west, build more dry ports in the south west and invest in livestock agriculture in the north and creation of an arewa/odua investment company for both regions. Synergy is what is really needed.

Plus ogun states and Oyo states really need to work on their own igr and exploit the closeness to Lagos.

I personally really don't give them much attention when they say stuff like that, usually it's bereft of any facts or logic and simply empty statements to feed their ego.... they talking about having ports, lol last time I checked they were landlocked.

See if our leaders are pragmatic, they would lobby and build a seaport in Abia State. Edo state is not a coastal state but they're building a seaport but I know once Igbos decide to do a similar thing now, the government will immediately frustrate it. We must have a port in Igboland even if it means using it to strike a bargain with Nigeria about not breaking away.

Opobo and Bonny may be Igbo territories but but since they're since they're still in a heterogeneous state, we must build in the SE!

that cant happened, start to tell your leaders to declare independence, Igbos as been talking about independence from day one. We dont need to stay in your region if each region is independent.

This is why I dislike seeing you people in my state (Edo state) you guys are always tribalistic irritating, spread false under bridge data as facts the. Start bragging.

Make sure you leave the southsouth out of your rubbish analysis.

The only reason Lagos has the highest igr is because you people cunningly move all the oil company head offices to Lagos so they pay taxes there .

You steal resources meant for us in the Niger Delta and make stupid noise

Very irritating people
