The CollinsXEjuke chemistry is amazing.

I look forward to this permanence.

Yes, this game is enough to judge they'll do so for the next 3years. I expect some to say otherwise but this is just what we need.

Decent first half we are probably unlucky to be going into the break all square.

Really poor positioning from Okoye for that goal conceded. Yes you could argue that the cade verdian was off-side but still poor from Maduka.

Kingsley, Ejuke and Shehu have impressed me the most. Simon's crosses have been awful glad Musa has taken over corner kick duties. Nice poachers goal from Osimhen. Hasn't gotten a clear sight of goal for most of the half but he's always dangerous.

Overall we've been good goal came against the run of play hopefully we can still wrap this up in the second half.

P.s the ref has been dodgy.

How did you know exactly? You saw it in your dream or vision?

Who does not know that Aina/ebuehi is better than shehu offensively and even defensively

That innocent boy is not too innocent o.. He is so rough.. Moses Simon is just there.... Musa, old age and poor final balls.

Ejuke doing the Lord's work. Collins is bonding quite well with Ejuke. Michael is balling good too... Eyes are open for the second half

Very decent half

Positives from that half.

Rohrs tactics. Kingsley Michael dropped to 3 man defense when not in possession. Changed after Cape varde scored though. Good football.

Ejuke. Thrives in this kind of games.

Jamilu Collins.

The high press

Negatives

Okoye has a save percentage below 50% in his Nigerian career.

Bonke Innocent. Hopes he improves second half.

VAR.

All our players when they find themselves in advanced positions on the wings, they just smash in the most ridiculous crosses it makes them look amateur. Have they never seen cut backs from the wings for late runners into the box to connect with?

Midfield seems to have balance so that's a positive.

We also seem useless with set pieces. Shearer once said the best players come alive when the ball is dead!

Bring on the second half.
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by PurpleHouse(m): 6:04pm On Sep 07, 2021
Ejuke and Oyenkuru should NEVER be on the bench. Never. It's an aberration against football. They're far better than those Rohr favours.

Yes I said it with my full Brokos!!!

Okoye concedes cheap goals that Ozohor won't concede. Hence I believe Ozohor should he our undisputed number one.

Na me talk am.

Post Cape Verde
Rohr needs to do this.
Work on Ndidi and Ekong both seem to be the reason why our main team is sluggish, this particular selection is fast and entertaining.
Ejuke should be starting ahead of Kalu and Simon in the left wing.
Rohr needs to reconsider Uzoho ahead of Okoye.
Kingsley Michael somehow should be integrated into the team.

Innocent is working really hard in the middle. Fighting for every ball and making it hard for the Cape Verdian to launch any meaningful attack.
Ejuke I am sorry for ever doubting you. Baller LOMO!
Shehu is trying but Simon has been awful.
Collins, wow!!

Same Collins una roasted like Corns, na em una dey praise so?

On Record, Sanusi is chilling on the Bench. We should take it easy on this Thread. Rohr has done more good than bad for Super Eagles.

He knows the Lads more than us. He knows their Strengths and Limitations, coz he coaches them. We should be calming down on this Board abegi.

Agreed

I have always like collins before sanusi porto move and he just gat to return to the bench

I am glad he is getting some game time now with the eagles

I praised collins during the afcon but komekn no ever agree with me grin

In 45 minutes, chidera has impressed me more than Simon Moses and Ahmed musa last 5 games for Nigeria, but the coach might drop him next game for musa and Simon Moses. This is exactly what we mean when we say that our coach should stop compromising “best players” with “familiarity”. Our best players needs to be selected. The same nonsense Is happening at right back as ebuehi is our best right back

We preach this everyday here. But them say na hate speech.

The connection between Ejuke and Collins is top notch
This shehu and moses simon ehh...no connection from their wing

that attack on Awaziem if there was VAR should a penalty
And who will come in for Innocent? undecided

Simon has not put one decent cross all day. He should be substituted with Onyekuru. Onyekuru has no business sitting on the bench
