The Federal Government has received additional 1,233,200 doses of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine for COVID-19 vaccination in the country.

Executive Director, National Primary Health Care Development Agency, Faisal Shuaib, told reporters in Abuja that the latest shipments were received late last Saturday through the AVATT platform, coordinated by the African Union Commission, as part of the 39,800,000 doses procured by the government.

“The NAFDAC team has already taken samples for analysis and are currently scanning the codes to ensure proper serialization of the vaccine.”

He said as of Monday, a total of 3,600,858 eligible Nigerians had received their 1st dose of COVID-19 vaccine.

He said of this number 2,551,738 persons were vaccinated with AstraZeneca vaccine and 1,049,120 persons were vaccinated with Moderna vaccine.

Shuaib said there had been questions raised about a few vaccinated individuals where COVID-19 infection occurred in those who had received the vaccination more than 14 days prior called breakthrough infection.

He said: “The observation is that in these individuals, the disease is usually milder than those who were unvaccinated.

Vaccination prevents one from severe disease, hospitalization and death. If our communities continue to remain unvaccinated, we will keep endangering our citizens most especially those who are vulnerable, elderly or immunocompromised.”

I'd take the vaccine in a sane clime not in Nigeria and definitely not in kaduna state.

Same kaduna that Muslim nurse was trying to conduct pregnancy test on man because he was complaining of stomach ache.

Omo this na true story.

Take the vaccine. Quacks exist in other countries too.

In the US, a man without a medical degree successfully passed himself off as a medical doctor for over 30 years before he got caught

Beware of injections that give genetic instructions, and have a "no liability clause" for the pharmaceutical company and the international supplier.

Which is what most of the viral infections you get also do. Viruses that infect you act by giving genetic instructions in essence.

And when you catch the viral infection, it makes yout body immune by the fact that the body remembers the previous infection and activates an immune response that would prevent it.

The vaccine works by getting your body to produce the viral spike protein which activates a response. And helps certain immune cells to remember the 'response ' By the time the real thing enters your body, it is ready for it.

Recovery from a prior infection gives a stronger immunity to the virus than the vaccination.. Also the vacine is valid only for 6 months..

The number of medical doc and nurses rejecting the vaccine is worrisome.. I don't blame them.. Simply up you're intake of vitamin d... And you have a strong resistance against the virus.. Why the sudden force of vaccine on the world.. Something is fishy
