I borrowed 18,000 and after 4 days late payment....repayment increased to 28,980.
On onday 30th August, I decided to repay....via bank transfer....I mistakenly added (3) to the figure....meaning I sent 289,803.
No common sense from to be civil enough to call me or ask questions or refund....NOTHING....they promised to receive funds WITHIN 7 WORKING days.
Till now after several calls....we are still on it...

Please I need all the help I can get.....lets assume it's someone else's money i used...i would be in a deep mess by now.

I called and one idiot picked and said they have no office that they are working from home, another said I only paid the loan amount..nothing like excess.

Ive complained and sent them my bank statement.....Before u know it...the day will be due and they will start calling contacts.
I have asked them to Prove that I received the loan ..I sent my own statement but ive not received theirs..

Modified Sept 8: The above status is still the same...i'm traumatized
7 working days has passed....still stories.
The other one has accrued late charges and still asking for repayment...of money I didnt receive.
This is daylight FRAUD.

Write them an email, copy efcc, icpc and nitda in the mail.

You can also file a petition at efcc.

You have the money to pay back but refused doing so

It was because they started charging you late fees that made you rush to go and repay the loan and in the process you made a mistake!

Yes you had the money to repay but you were waiting for them to come and beg you before you return their money.

You intentionally tied down someone's business capital for 4 days but now that they have tied down your own for just 7 days you want to have a heart attack.

If I were a manager in that loan company I will punish you by refunding the money in bits and pieces over a period of 6 months!

Is Nairaland a law chambers instead of you to go and hire a law firm you're here fuming and claiming right like a typical Nigerian.

Let me give you a piece of advise, if this case ever reaches court you will be asked to provide a copy of your bank statement; all the loan company needs to do is to prove that you had enough money to clear your debt on due date but you chose not to and you will loose the case.

While going to seek justice you must be sure that your own hands are clean.

You need not stress yourself to reply to him. Lucky you, you have ur money back, but pls don't ever go near those vipers again. They are legit scammers/fraudsters
