IOM Ikeja and Qlife Victoria Island, you need to book an appointment to get your medicals done especially if it's upfront Medical. But in the case that IRCC sent you a medical request, you can go to any of this hospitals and plead with them with evidence of your medical request to allow you do the medical test. Go early also. Cheers

531, I haven’t recovered. My bank allowed deposit of 9k in two tranches of 5k and 4k paid in in two days

Anu2002:

Congratulations to all the PPR recipients. Those that have been refused, do not give up but refire.
@RollyA . What was the black market rate you got? Was it an inflow or deposit?

I have a question pls,

For newly arrived travellers, will a quarantine over a separate room in an apartment, though with a shared bathroom/toilet though with another person be accepted?
One other person uses the other room, although he is fully vaccinated and is not a vulnerable person.

Qlife VI and IOM Ikeja are the only hospitals approved for Canada medical check.

The probability of getting it done tomorrow is 10/100 if you don't have a medical request from IRCC and 50/50 if you have a request. Reason being, it's based on appointment. You have to book 1st.

So you have a medical request from IRCC?

Yea, I do have a request.. And please how much does it cost to do the medicals?

Yesterday it was 10 weeks.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by dotoracs: 5:19pm On Sep 08, 2021
As I said earlier, I'll be back to testify.

Masters of Business Administration at Memorial University of Newfoundland (MUN)

This was my first ever application for visa to any country. I have only been to Benin Republic. Please pardon the typos and/or grammatical errors in this, if any. I didn't bother proof reading let alone correcting as I am currently waaaay too glad for that grin

The following are the documents attached to my application:

1. The usual required forms for adult students from Nigeria by IRCC
2. Passport, Digital photo and a four paged detailed LOE
3. Proof of funds were my certificates of investment in bonds and mutual funds at Stanbic IBTC Asset Management Limited. There were three of them all totaling N9.3million
4. A letter from my uncle who is a US citizen pledging to support my tuition/welfare in Canada with $7,000 USD and his employment offer letter.
5. My maternal uncle's Wells Fargo 6months salary/checking account statement, Pay stubs for the last 6months and accounts statement of a separate and recently opened savings account wherein the $7k were saved up solely for the of setting aside of said funds for support.
6. My uncle's American International passport and National Population Commission (NPC) "birth attestation" which was issued in 2002. It shows the name of his parents. Most importantly, the goal here is to prove that he's sibling with my mom as his surname is Oso.
7. A copy of my mom's birth certificate which was issued in on December 20, 1960 by Ishara local development council with authenticity support letter from Ikenne local government. Its originality couldn't have been doubted as it looks rusty and old. The birth certificate confirmed her surname at birth to be "Oso".
8. My mom's National ID card (the one issued during Obasanjo's era) which showed her maiden name to be Oso. Although, her surname is now Adesanya. Also on this card, my elder and only sister was detailed as her next of kin. We are just two from my parent.
9. Traditional, Federal and Church issued marriage certificate of my mom showing her pre marital names written and my dad's name were also fully detailed.
10. I was among the page boys during my uncle's wedding at Ikenne Local government registry back in August 2003 . Luckily for me, his wife was able to send me a scanned copy of the couple and bridal train pictures we took with the local government emblem behind us. We all really looked way younger then. Lol
11. My uncle and his family travelled back to Nigeria for the burial of his father (my grandpa) in 2019. There were a lot of pictures. including where he took with my wife, my daughter and I. My second and current last born hasn't been given birth too then. Some of the key pictures with my mom and dad inclusive were attached.
12. My uncle usually send US dollars to my account to help convert to naira. He did this severally way back in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020. I printed the entire listed years and filtered with him as sender of funds. Hence, my GTBank USD account statement was attached. All of these from point number 6 is to establish verifiable family and economic ties with my sponsor.
13. I'm a banker. I started my career with GTBank back in 2013 and moved to Stanbic IBTC in 2019. All I did was to attach my offer letters from the two banks and tell them that those were the source of my savings contribution to the funds in those investment certificates. I did not attach my normal Naira last 4 or 6 months account statement.
14. My daughter was born December 2016 and Son August 2020. I attached their respective NPC birth certificate. Also, I attached got a letter of identification from my Daughter's school showing her current class, age, address and confirming name and age of her two parents.
15. I also attached various training certificates from my former and current work places ranging from Credit, FX trading, International trade financing, Anti Money Laundering, Financial Statement Analysis, marketing, Business writing and speaking, etc. All carried the logo and training period from the two banks respectively.
16. I attached my marriage and birth certificate along side my NPC issued birth attestation.
17. I attached my wife's International passport, Her employment letter with Lagos state Government (as a teacher) and her promotion letters
18. I attached my sister, mother and father's NIMC slips, voter's cards and their driver's licenses
19. I attached proof of ownership of my car and my wife's car
20. I attached proof of my address in Nigeria and my Uncle's proof of address in America. Please note that I used my Tizeti internet biller information since it shows my name. It's not like I own the house i live in but my Uncle owns his.
21. My BSc certificate in Economics, 2;1 (Ajayi Crowther University, 2011) and transcript.
22. My NYSC call up letter and deployment letter alongside its certificates.
23. My PPA's (Stanbic IBTC Bank, Corporate & investment Banking) acceptance letter to NYSC and offer letter for my one year stay with them during service. My set was the last legally allowed to serve with private organizations. 2011 batch grin C
24. I have a valid and general training IELTs band 7 score from December 2019, so I attached its certificate from British council
25. I submitted a Duolingo English Test certificate to MUN as proof of English. I didn't know quickly that i could have been exempted with an English tutoring confirmation from ACU.
26. My GMAT score certificate where I did very well.
27. First year tuition payment confirmation letter from MUN
28. My family and wedding pictures
29. My instruction letter to Stanbic IBTC Bank to debit my account for the first year amount through form A which the banks acknowledgement stamp and signature was impressed on.
30. Telex copy of FX funds transfer.

These are the few docs I remember attaching. All the best to those expecting. may it end in rigorous praises!

Faithyyyyy:
It's been almost a year here and I am glad to be an alumni. I applied for my study permit last year and got it within a month despite the pandemic and delays. I followed up rigorously, didn't defer my classes and started online classes because I was convinced it would favour me. I eventually travelled with my husband and son when resuming on campus and it was a great experience.

Today I am a proud graduate of University of Ottawa. Yes I finished my program in record time and I am over the moon.

My mission here is to give back more positively and encourage everyone on this journey who has faith and believes this is what they want to go for. It takes patience, research, hardwork and even financial commitment.

Let us keep faith and hope alive on this journey of the brave

Congratulations, madam. I’m working on getting my study permit, but I’m having issues with providing proof of financial support. I’d like to pick your brains on how to go about this. Thanks

But is he entirely wrong? Come on. It was clearly stated that they have received his complaints and he should cut down on the repetitive emails. Maybe he sends it constantly (everyday) and that is not advisable. If he keeps making complaints on an application that has already been acknowledge it might just prolong the processing time instead of hastening it. Put your self in the VO'S Position forget if you're nigerian or afghanistan wouldn't you be irritated? After all no be machines dey issue the visa. It's people with flesh and blood like me and you.

First of, I'm not wrong and secondly, did you just say it will prolong the app, you have no idea how serious this thing is bcus if you do , you won't say it will prolong the app.
If the applicant keeps sending them mail, it will cut the applicant chances of getting the visa short and definitely it will lead to visa denial bcus his showing signs of desperation.
