My Toyota matrix 2005 is sounding hard under and after a while the oil alert will show, please what can I do to stop this problem

Hello fam, my car steering do vibrate/ shake when am driving my Corolla 2005 and when I straighten the steering, the car goes left, I have change the cup and done wheel balance in two different places but still didn't solve d problem... Could d fault b from the steering itself or my rim

Good morning Nairalanders. I need your advise Toyota gurus I have plans to buy a 2010 Camry le I was opting for the v4 but the dealer said v6 is better that v6 does not consume fuel like that. I was considering fuel consumption b4 because of the fact I wil be using it for bolt and personal use .
I will be glad if suggestions and advise could be made as soon as possible b4 he brings the car on Monday .

lies... It consume Dan d v4... There's no. Way der fuel consumption will be d same. Don't consider it for Uber.. My opinion though and am. Stil new abt vehicle too

will NEVER advice you to make use of V6 for bolt,pls go for the 4 cylinder.

He said I’m to pay for the car wash please how much does it cost to wash a Toyota engine and body like a complete wash . He is telling me that it is 8k please Nairalanders I need your advice . I paid 3.5 million naira for the car after which he told me I’m going to give him 100k for the car that his hotel bills and the amount he used to bring the car is 40k and plus the paint job they will do on the car everything is inside the 100k and now he is now telling me the 8k for the car and engine wash is not included in the 100k I have paid him 90k already but I feel he is trying to cheat me because it is my first time and I don’t really have experience. Bros, dont allow your dealer chop you finish.. maximum charge for car wash (both interior and exterior including engine bay) shouldn't exceed 3k.

You bought tokunbo or naija used? Meanwhile, the recommended engine oil is supposed to be in the car manual. Some of these car uses 5w-20 either mobile 1 full synthetic or other full synthetic oil

You don't have a problem. The manual should be on the car. 5w-20 will be fine but check the manual first

When did you buy the car? Dis you buy as tokunbo? How long have you been using without service? Don't every give your car to anyhow kazeem to diagnose. Always go for the best professionals.

This should not be an issue if it disappears after about 1-2mins

The normal rpm for a car should be around 700-900rpm at idle. I don't think your car have any issue

1. Toyota Camry v4 I believe from 2007 to 2010 came with a manufacture defect.. They short oil and many of them had a recall.. Hopefully yours is not a v4 ....but the v6 had no recall of engine oil shorten....

2. Pic below .......The recommended oil is 5w30 , check the oil cap of the engine .. This is very easy this are basic things that car owners should be able to do without asking questions.. This is how mechanics take advantage of car owners .. Because they fail to know the basics of car maintenance


3. Cost of imported engine oil has gone up and also scarce now .. Check my signature for more details

You should be fine.. Early morning start up usually brings out smoke and a bit of water from tail pipe.. Once the car warms up . it clears up

Recommended oil should be 5w30... Any good well know brand is ok

not really, just a slight difference in fuel consumption....

This can be adjusted by a mechanic but it is not an issue

That's normal, the engine is steaming.

There's a button by your left below the steering wheel, you'll see a traction button, hold for a bit while car is on... Should go off.

Regarding the check engine light, have your car scanned. Don't let road side mechanics touch anything without you doing a scan first.
