I hope these guys looking for Nigerian used cars are planning to drive themselves. If you buy a Nigerian used car and give it out on rentals, sorry will be your name.

A very large percentage of Nigerians only sell their vehicles when it starts giving them issues. This is an undisputed fact. You can make of it what you will.

You’re advising that one? A semi educated black African migrant menial worker over “there in the USA” who their society tramples upon daily both physically and mentally to the extent that the only place he can feel superior in any way is to look back towards his home country’s citizens on a faceless forum and try to project an image of competition and accomplishment in every single opportunity he gets just to feel better about himself?

Leave that guy. His issues are heavy upon his shoulders. When someone can’t write a single paragraph without putting the statement ‘here in the USA’, you should know that person considers the fact that he could afford a one way plane ticket at a particular time in his past to be the greatest achievement of his life till date.

His character will never change. We will manage him like that. Being ‘in the usa’ has really made him the greatest man from his village and we should commend him for that.

I have an uncle like that..... Omo bruh I no dey even talk to am ........ To drop money for his siblings who supported him emotionally and financially hin dey hard him to send money for upkeep ..... I told him about my plan to travel abroad for college and also play American Football , baba went into overdrive telling me how life is hard over there that I shouldn't think of coming that I should just look for any uni here in 9ja and enter ...... Naso i lockup go learn Forex and crypto trading ... Now look at me beening successful in it..... Low key I'm still saving up for the courses . Diploma na 2.8M (for 2yrs) tuition fee na 4.3M (paying for 2yrs) I don't know how much it will cost me for accommodation and daily expenses..... But I know by God Grace by next year I would have saved up to 10M - 15M combined income from my forex account and the e_hailing. And when I travel out I no go even tell anyone, I go just lock up do my thing myself.

See review one woman left for me on inDriver, na wa

I didn’t even speak throughout the whole short trip besides asking her how her day was going and wishing her a wonderful day.

The music volume was on 20 out of a maximum of 60 and she never complained that the music was loud cause I would have turned it down immediately.

Let me tell you guys what the problem was, I did not let her into my car until she had verified her name.

When I first got to the pickup, she was trying to open my door, which was locked. So I asked her through the window for her name and she started shouting right there that that’s not how its done, that I’m supposed to let her in my car first before asking for her name, na wa.

I just weak at some people men. Is that how you let a stranger in your house and then ask for name later?

I just don’t understand some humans men. I explained to her that it was for security reasons, yet she was still shouting, and I never shouted back.

See how she now left a wicked review for someone. Some people are just wicked sha

See her English sef, “worst rude ever”, chai

Next time bruh.... Don't let such Rider report first..... Always lay the complain first.

Leave it as it is.

I have still not got a wrap around why drivers fully in transport business or ehailing, prefer auto. Offcourse, drivings the length of Lagos 12hrs a day is a big deal. But hey, only manuals are built for that. The rigor, the maintenance, etc. It is whats most suitable for the demanding usage.

Yes, preference, get an auto for preference!
Thank you sir

I've been following this thread for a long time now, I've learnt a lot .

I wanna make enquiry on how ehailing business in Abuja is, got free accommodation over there and my own car to work with.
Heard there's not much traffic officers there unlike lagos and good roads too.

I'll appreciate more insights from those with more experience, cos I'm planning on relocating to Abuja for Bolt & Uber purposes.

Please i need the average amount i can make during weekdays and weekends in abuja.

Anticipating quick response from you guys.

Thanks

Experience Bolt drivers in the house, how do you break even and make profits because to me, this prices paid by riders are low for a car owner to make profits.

Bolt just launched in Lokoja, Kogi State newly and I said let me even drive my car on the platform and have a feel of it. So I registered and got accepted. I went to the panel beater to do some minor repairs which cost me about 7k. I fueled the car 2k, and I launched my bolt driver app.

For 4 and half hours, I had about 6 riders and I made total 4k, which is not even up to what I spent for the day. That is after buying 1k fuel extra before I got home. Total spent = 10k. Total made= 4k. Balance= - 6k.

To me, this is ridiculously low for a car owner, imagine long trips of 30 minutes and the rider will only be charged 800 naira. Sometimes a rider will call me, and when I get there, they will be 3/4 people waiting for me. Yet bolt will charge a paltry 800 naira for 4 people/seats on this bad Lokoja roads, very terrible roads. I have not even talked about the distance I have to drive from to come pick them up. Who pays for that fuel from my location to riders location?

The most annoying experience yesterday was when I picked 3 riders (1guy, 2 girls) for a short distance and bolt app said 200 naira.... Are you kidding me?.... How much will the 3 of them pay for Okada,? That should 300 naira, nah.. Nah... With my ac blaring, I just told them 400 naira, the guy paid and even gave me a tip only for one of the girls to be saying that but bolt on her phone is saying 200 naira. Blah blah blah

Abeg you guys should give me clues as to maximize profits else, na to park my car jeje...

You really cracked me up. I have once done a trip on uber in my uber days, only for me to get to destination, and I saw 300naira, I weak. Funny thing was that trip was too short to be billed so I had to wait a couple of minutes more then tried again and to my greatest surprise 300naira popped up.

That has never happened to me for now. Only thing I have noticed is, it takes longer for drivers to come. They rolled out Uber Go on the Island, but it is still the same issue and I never gave it too much thought till I saw the comments here.

Izu is already threatening me that Uber Go would soon run. So maybe it is about time I get a side-guy. cheesy

I've been off social media for quite some time due to personal reason but I had to take that decision off the table cuz of a friend who found himself in a big mess.

Pilots, one of us is in serious trouble and I felt I should call the attention of the house for possible assistance or advise, on Saturday afternoon, he was requested by someone around igando to pick up some guys, unknowing to the driver, those guys had a gun on them.

While he was taking them to their destination, they were stopped by the police for stop & search, immediately police stopped them and asked them to alight, 3 among the 4 guys he carried ran away while him(driver) and the last guy were arrested when they found the gun in his car.

Now the guy has been branded accomplice despite showing them bolt app and claiming he's just a driving who was just providing his service.

These guy had been in detention since Saturday without any hope of coming out soon, any strong link or assistance would be highly appreciated at this point to get him out...

Na wa o. On top this small hustle when man dey take see front, which kind wahala be this? Or are we to start frisking riders, abi na metal detector we go buy put for moto?

Sir please can you give some information about your hybrid car?

What type do you drive

How long have you been using it?

What were your major and current or most common challenges you experienced with this hybrid? Kindly talk briefly about you first experience using the hybrid as well.

Would you advise anyone for the hybrid against the petrol? If yes which make and model would you suggest best for uber?

Do you have a specialist for this brand you currently driving that you can bank on when ever issues arise?

cc: Dmechy -boss I hail oh... You're doing well sir please keep it upgrin

radautoworks (mama it haf tey o dis one u just forget your boys for wilderness like dis watin dey happen na).

Considering the high cost of the popular brand and petrol taking major portion of drivers' earning it will be wise for one to divert attention into the future because electric/hybrid cars is the future.

Considering the engine size (1.8L), worst case the battery park off unexpectedly one would still be able to move around with normal comsuption like the Corolla right? Or is it that the car won't move at all if a serious electrical or battery issue comes up?

Something must kill a man but, not taking any chances is what will kill a man faster.

So your input guys.

Thanks
all the fight don finish? Seemed like all everyone wanted to do was fight so I just diverted my time elsewhere. To catch up sef now ehn...

Below is an excerpt from the doctor turned Uber driver murdered while going about means of sustenance

"At the station, they told us that the trip was a set-up, as they had planned to rob any Uber driver and it was unfortunate that it had to be him. They did not even give him an option; they strangled him from the back seat, pushed him out of the car and drove to the Afrika Shrine to celebrate"

He didn't even pick them up from the shrine , he picked them from Ikeja.

You are trying too hard to twist my words. Like I said, Bolt drivers have always had this comma to me. I am not taking that back and yes, it is only normal you feel relaxed with people who have given you a reason to trust them. Something Uber has done.

Everyone deserves respect, including me, something I don’t seem to get from Bolt drivers. It is only advisable I stay off them and I will continue to.

No Sir, for this post of yours, I won’t have a change of mind. Let’s see what epistle you type next.

Warm Regards

My next episode will only be that the "change your mindset" is not asking that you change your mind by taking a Bolt ride, No! Change your perspective about how you see things that's all I meant.

Best regards dear.
