maestro09:Hi, A fresh graduate with a 4.42 CGPA is expected to go for a Masters in Agriculture or related program. So in this case, I can't recommend a program, you as the applicant know the areas you are good at in Agriculture, in which you should av known the research areas (your research interests) you would fit in for Agriculture as a Master student. See the link below for list of Masters degree programs in Agriculture & Related area and Canadian Universities offering them https://www.universitystudy.ca/search-programs/?k=Agriculture+&program_level_merged=Master%27s+degree&program_language= Agriculture is very wide, so you must have Potential Research Areas you want to work on for your Masters, based on your prior research experience ( your undergraduate final year project), or a research area related to some courses you did in the University. You should have at least 3-5 research areas you intend working on for your Masters in Agriculture, cos there are fullyfunded graduate opportunities (scholarships) in Agricultural programs for Masters, PHD etc. in Canadian universities. Having 3-5 research areas will make you have access to more professors which means more potential fully funded graduate opportunities (scholarships) for you. So, look for Professors of Agriculture in Canadian Universities (google) whose Research focus aligns with your Research interests, then cold mail them. E.g Google Professors of Animal husbandry Canada, you would see lots of ANIMAL HUSBANDRY PROFESSORS in Canadian Universities with their contacts, publications. Note: Be very careful not to send a Particular copy of cold mail to more than one professor (avoid sending a generic mail to all profs). A cold mail must be specifically tailored to a Prof. based on his/her research areas and publication or publications. That is, for instance, the cold mail meant for Professor Korede Bello would be different from the one you gonna be sending to Prof. Bisa Kdei. So if you are gonna be mailing 30 profs. that means you gonna be drafting 30 different cold mails. Take your time & go through the contents in the link below, relate it to your Agricultural field of study, research interests and start shooting your shots. https://www.nairaland.com/6567181/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/321#103487629 If you do your due diligence and you get a Fully-funded Graduate offer from a Canadian University, you wouldn't need much proof of funds. Get more information from members on this group who got Fully-funded Graduate offers, got their study visa approved and are now in Canada, they would be able to give you based on experience information. Good luck!!!! 3 Likes |

Heffalump:Actually, Universities offers PGD, only few universities offer PG.Cert For someone who graduated 5-10 years ago, PGD admission from a University is 50/50 , cos they kinda process their applicants the way they process Masters applicants and their admission requirements seems to be geared towards fresh graduates or people with less study gaps. Look at Graduate diploma in Accounting, Wilfrid Laurier University, Ontario for example Admission Requirements 1) An undergraduate degree (completed or in final stages of completion); 2) Completion of all prerequisites for courses in the graduate diploma (completed or in the final stages of completion with a minimum grade of C- in each course); and 3) A minimum required average in business-related courses of B-. As you can see, the above admission requirements is not really aligning with the profile of someone with 5-10 years study gap, someone with a 2.2 and someone who don't have an accounting/business background but has the work experience., but its possible it might not be the same for all universities offering graduate diploma in ACCOUNTING. In fact i saw a school that required interview, unofficial transcript (student copy) and Official transcipt for the Grad. diploma admission. So colleges are not stringent in their admission process like a University and college admission requirements are not harsh. Before you get official transcript from Nigeria to a University in Canada, it would likely take a lot of time but colleges accept unofficial transcripts. These are just my own observations and opinion, you can await more contributions from others 1 Like |

Congratulations, l am next on line quote author=Gracehayford1 post=105639524] Hello everyone, God has done it for me. He’s too faithful to fail me. I wrote down this testimony in faith that I will receive my ppr this week. My timeline goes like this Submitted April 10th 2021 ( normal route) Did biometrics April 26th 2021 I did not get NSE request Did medicals on the 3rd of June and it was updated to pass on the 10th of June. The long wait started. I was so worried but I kept on believing in God and also praying Sent various webform concerning my application but to no avail Then I sent my enrollment letter through webform July 26th My eligibility review started on the 31st of July I sent a webform to Nairobi yesterday telling them that the wait is affecting me mentally and that I need a decision soon. After sending the email I was scared that I might appear desperate but anyways My correspondence letter and ppr dropped today 9th of September For those waiting for ppr God will do it in Jesus name Amen. Thank you all for always replying my questions here. God bless you all. Note: I didn’t pay any tuition fee [/quote] 2 Likes |

LILIAN75: You have enough home ties, this is where a good worded LOE comes to play. Include birth certificates and family pictures. Having mum transfer or will a property to you isn't a bad idea at all, also add the pictures you talked about,if there's any identification, put am join. Just buttress your points. But before rushing to roll the dice again , please sieve through different opinions, hopefully the gurus will chip in one or two things. It will end in praise 1 Like |

mastersammy: After my enquiry regarding this statement, I discovered I was wrong and I apologise to everyone and I accept my wrong and I applause all the gurus out there, you guys did well by calling me to order to correct me. No knowledge is unlimited but only God and you can't know everything, I'm open for learning and there is no shame in it. Once again nice one to the gurus out there, you guys are like a watchdog in here , making sure every information posted here is correct to avoid misleading ppl. Despite that, I still maintain , using 1yr program to apply for visa is more difficult to get compare to using 2 - 4 years program to apply for visa. I'm saying this with facts and experience but anyone who wishes to go through 1yr program is free to go ahead with it, who knows, it might click 7 Likes |

Tinakem: Congratulations. May Canada Favour you and make all your dreams come true. Please i have some questions. Why did you send the webform to Nairobi instead of Lagos? Are you in Kenya? Did you process your application through Nairobi? I’m in Lagos, Nigeria. Can i also send a webform to Nairobi or do i have to select the Lagos option? Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks |
