One of them typical Nigerians. Rabble rouse your way out of your lies with oyinbo.
The question is still unanswered. "How you take land for future?"

Lol

If May 2021 was your future, it then speaks all about u. Well, there are still Nigerians who are doing well in ICT and Medicals. Check out and research about CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) it will give u an idea that a lot of Nigerians are making us proud both home and Diaspora.

Your profile is good, I must be honest. Travel History is good and helpful but I was denied US visa on 3 different times even though I had been to places such UK, Ireland, France, Holland, Germany, South Africa, Dubai and few others on personal and official. However, this is what I have come to realise that with consistency and good profile, one stands a better chance. Please take your time to fill your ds 160 form, your profile is good .

Hello house,
Please I need your help with this.
In my DS160 I filled in my new passport number, for the booking for appointment it was my old passport number that was there it didn't occur for me to update it before printing, Is this a problem, though the old passport number is in the new passport.

Secondly, on my DS160 form in the place of birth I filled in Sapele and the one I filled years ago was Okpe. Though Okpe is in Sapele, so I just put Sapele.
What do you think, should I fill another DS160 form to correct it, let's say I fill another one the Application I'd will be different from the booking appointment.
Please I need your advice thanks a lot.

good afternoon everyone, please kindly help out, I have some questions, which are
1. The maximum number of times one is allowed to reschedule the US Visa interview date on their website, that is limit one is allowed to reschedule an interview after schedule an interview date?

2. What is the difference between to cancel an interview date and to reschedule an interview date?

Thanks in advance, your swift responses and contribution will be highly appreciated.

Your profile is ok, but not enough.
At most cases the VO don't normally interview the woman as such. They focused mainly on the husband.
I can spot 5 different mistakes In your interview, which makes the VO to deny your family the visiting visa, the VO concluded your are not going to return back to Nigeria after the visit.

Log into your online banking profile and reprint it.
If you don't have one, walk into the bank and and have them profile you. Its free.

The person does not not have an online banking profile. Are you saying if he goes to the bank where he bought it,they will issue him a new one after profiling?

Profiling is creating online banking. That's what GTB calls it

You could ask if they will reprint too. I don't know, but no harm in asking

Ok but what is sure is that is one is not able to get a reprint one would not be let in at the embassy,so one needs to do all he can to get it?

I got an Invitation to attend a Conference in the Aberdeen proving ground, U.S. Military's Base . The Conference is on CBRNe Conference, co-sponsored by the U.S. Army . I was approved to gain access to the U.S. Military's base after my application was vetted by the U.S. Army . I have filled the DS-160 form , paid the fee , but the appointment time giving to me was December , 2022 . I choose Abuja , however, I applied for the emergency appointment it was approved . The Conference is coming up 7-9th September, 2021 . I got the nearest date before the conference date, in the following day I got emailed from the organizer that the Conference Venue and date has changed due to the fact that the U.S. Government insist that all U.S. Military base should not allow conference or training from the U.S. Department of Defense , the conference was moved to one hotel at Baltimore , 8-9th September, 2021 without training again . This is after I have complete all the process for the Visa . What is my Chance of getting the Visa ? Note, this conference is an in-person program, as the virtual conference was held in April which I attended

Since this is a burner profile, I will do this. For ease of reading. Not correctness or grammar or anything.

Jolexboiy:

I filled the DS-160 form, paid the fee, and earlier got appointment for December, 2022 in Abuja. I later applied for emergency appointment it was approved. The Conference comes up 7-9th September, 2021 and I got an appointment close to that date.

The following day I got an email from the organizer that the conference venue and date has changed due to the fact that the US DoD insist that all U.S. Military bases should not allow conference or training in US Military facilities.

The conference was moved to a hotel in Baltimore for 8-9th September, 2021 without the training part any longer.

This was after I had completed all the process for the visa application.

What are my chances of getting the visa approved?
Note, this conference is an in-person program, as a virtual conference held in April which I also attended.

I don't think your "situation" has changed. If I was a VO, I won't approve your application because you are going to a US Army base, but because you even got the clearance in the first place.
I don't know what CBRNe and all is about, but I will ask you questions along that line and how you are involved in that and its relation to your career in Nigeria.
Finances and other general questions around the travel duration, other plans etc

Good morning. How can I get my plans of studying in the US on the way... Post graduate studies

There is a thread on student visa, it was very helpful however, you may have to start from at least 3 editions before the current one to get as much information as you may require. I also used websites like usnews.com. The education section helps navigate the website and gives a list of school offering one's program.

Thanks for your kind response. I want to get IELTS first, is it possible to get schools in the US without IELTS result?

You can have the test of English waived however, most times, if you require assistantship/funding, you would need to submit one to prove proficiency.

Not so high if you book early or go through a reliable agent.

All,

I'm looking to apply for a Visit visa for my mother. I live in the US and can take of her expenses. I understand appointment available goes upto 2024. Is there a way I can get her a sooner date when I apply? Also how do I get started on the application process.

Thanks

They don't like people staying for months. There are other categories of visas for artists and co which enables to stay for some time without the US officials carpeting them , but for Tourist visas, it's a no no

My ex mother in law was given 6 months at Poe on a visitor’s visa.

You will be given six months, Even if you say you are gonna spend two weeks on your application form. Now , if you spend threemonths, be ready to explain why you spent three months at your renewal application as opposed to the two weeks you said you are gonna spend; and if your explanation is not convincing, you ll be denied. Happens all the time.People are denied renewals if you are deemed to have stayed too long although it's still within the six months they gave you.Its a tricky thing. So the key thing is not to go far two beyond the time you said you were gonna spend so as to be seen as credible. You know their immigration law says " every applicant is presumed to be a potential immigrant, until you prove otherwise to the CO.So in other words, it is assumed that everybody is running away
.And things like that dont help one's cause.

Our situation was different. I was at POE with her. She was going to get given the 4 weeks that she asked for at USEL. It was when I told the Officer of my plans to return to Nigeria in 6 months to oversee my house build that he agreed with a warning not to spend over exactly six months. She spent exactly 5 months and 2 weeks.

Every case is different.

The point here is as a tourist you wanna abide by what you you told them so as not to cause problems in the future.Thats what they demand. One should not spend too long on a tourist visit, and not visit too frequently in the space of few months.Thats more than often a deal breaker. If one spends some time more than what you told them,it must be too long.It has scuppered people's chances of renewal and this is one of the reasons they even suspended the dropbox renewal programme .
