I like Lexus Es 350 a whole lots I don't know the cost . Corrola product is not a bad option too.

Both good choices though they're not in the same category as the Corolla comes with a smaller engine than the Lexus. It should be cheaper to maintain in terms of fuelling, servicing and body parts than the Lexus also. They're both good cars, just treat them right

Yes seriously needed the reviews from people that have used sonata, but thinking I will go for the Honda instead, Corolla is out of the picture for me though.

I know but the way people just condemn sonata without having a first hand experience.. I use a sonata myself and I have no issues since October last year.. the car just needs proper maintenance and don’t even use it on bad roads

Sonata has one of the most useless engines in cars.. No offense but every car specialist know this... But with proper maintenance it can run well.. But when the problems start.. Even Devil go sympathize with you

Obvious you don’t know much about the car.. most car brands also face recalls for one issue or the other.. no need to argue as I use sonata myself and I bought it after a friend’s recommendation and close to a year now no issues.. engine still perfect …. The only advise I can give anyone buying sonata is to go for ones with lesser mileage .

Few questions to ask, before I can comment. 1) What do you want from the car? Efficiency, power etc
2) How do you intend to use it? What's your travel route like? Good roads/drive alone or with a big family/ are you a driving enthusiast
3) Are you concerned about prestige the car offers? Etc
4) Do you just need a good car to move from point A to B, or you need to make a statement with it?

Your car choice is good. It's easy to maintain, just like corolla. So it's ideal for a first time owner.

But you have to be really really careful with naija used cars.

Make sure you go with a very good mechanic to inspect the car. If you do that, you'll be fine.

Your first car should not be troublesome. Else it will ruin your perception about cars.

You know what they say, first impressions matter.

If you go with a good mechanic, you will likely find a good car that will make your first experience worthwhile.

You need to know one thing, cars are now extremely expensive
1)Honda accord 2007 to 2012
2)Camry around 2007 to 2012
3)Toyota corrola 2011 to 2014
Bmw 328/325 series 2008 to 2011
Highlander year 2006 below
Benz C300 (lower tears) (not really too sure of the year for this)
And you can also get hyundai below 2011 (Elantra, Tucson , and co)
Lexus ES 330/350


Good cars are not around 4.5M and above

what's hard in maintaining a lexus.. A problem free car does not pass servicing every 5k miles...
