Noticed same on my screen as at December last year.

Yes, but sometime the screen comes back on with red colour on the screen before it goes back off.

When place the cursor on the battery indicator, what do you get? Plugin charging or Plugin not charging?

Good evening everyone please I got my laptop from a friend and according to him it was in perfect condition when he last used it although he claims he rarely used it. So the thing is I have to do something very important and it will require internet but I don't have a modem and it will take ten days to get one (time is important) I can't access the Wi-Fi and guys this is a big problem for me I have tried all solutions I got from the internet (searched for solutions on my mobile) none is working. The wifi won't toggle on like it's frozen all attempts and manoeuvres have failed please help me guys thank you.

have you checked that you have the correct wifi drivers installed. if so, it might be the operating system, in the system restore settings, try to restore your system to an earlier date or months before you gave it out to your friend or while still been with your friend, when the wifi was still working
