At least if there's one thing they did right was to keep food for me till the next morning.

I woke up to an already set table. Collins and Becky were gisting as they fed each other. I pretended like I didn't care. Ofcourse I didn't care, I'm all about the food.

Becky couldn't even look at me. Who them help jooh.

Francis called to inform me that there would be chilling later cause somebody won about half million from his shop from sports bet and dashed him about 30k, so na total flexing we dey that evening.

Well Blessing wasn't done with me, another call came in, and another, and another, and another. Okay I was super pissed already. So I collected my phone and was contemplating how to stand up to a less noisy section to call Blessing back.

Barely a minute after I collected my phone back, a text entered. It was from Blessing. I codedly opened it as my eyes opened wide in horror.

The text read; Peter, look behind you.


Behind me was where those sugar papas them siddon, wetin come concern Blessing for there. Wait, Shit.

I turned slowly only to find Blessing's eyes fixated on me. She was sitting in between her friend and one of the men. Funny aspect was that, she wasn't smiling as our eyes met. I quickly turn and face my table again.

The funny thing was that she continued calling my phone again. If I turn, na her eyes I go jam, she no even send for wetin dey happen for her own table again.

One of the men called barman to go tell people wey dey sell fish to bring two more wraps of the fish and chips come their table.

Blessing and I were still playing the looking game when her phone rang, she stood up to go pick the call. I was relieved for only thirty seconds cause as I sight the person wey carry the fish come for those men, the person sight me too. Naso both of us open mouth. Omor which kin wahala be this?

Na Stephanie come serve them the fish and chips.

Ruth, Blessing and yours truly Stephanie dey one location. I begin pity my life that moment as Stephanie pretending to get over her shock, collected the money for what she brought and dashed out, her eyes never leaving mine. Mehn she was furious to the core.


Na only Victor realise wetin dey happen cause he knew both Blessing and Stephanie. The dude was just smiling back at me.

I needed something to cool my nerves that moment so I asked him for a wrap of dope, he passed it to me under the table, I quickly pocketed it and grabbed a lighter and told them I'll be back soon.

I thought I had things under control with Blessing but Stephanie, that was a different ball game. Since when we had sex last, she had been forming loving you on me, begging for another date or visitation, I told her I was even out of town when we spoke that morning. She was walking around restlessly outside when I step out of the gate, as she sighted me, she quickly started walking towards me, I sidestep her and grab her hand, drag her to the corner she was walking towards me from.

"Peter what's the meaning of what you're doing?" She fumed.


"Are you kidding me? Why you dey ask me that kin question? What did I do?" I fired back.

"Peter, I said who is that girl you were with?"

"Me too, who was those men you were with......"
