We have completed the block walls till lintel level of this building on the second floor. Our focus for this week is the reinforcement works for columns and beams, and possibly the carpentry works before we can cast the concrete,

The second decking took about N4,150,000 or thereabouts, we saved more on wood which we reused, but lost more money on labor costs as the height increased, so the workers increased their charges.

Work has been going on in this site, carpentry works for the lintels and columns almost completed.

We are planning to start lintel cast with concrete today. Looking for more sand this morning.

Oh, the adjacent land was paid for the next month by another investor and a new building has commenced on it. I will show the level of construction on that adjacent plot when next I go to site. Lands there are selling like pure water on a very hot day.

The area is developing rapidly from what I have witnessed since I started building this house for this client here. There has been at least 7 different new purchases of lands in this area, and people has started building there immediately.

The 4 pictures I attached shows 4 new buildings that started after I started building this house. The lands had not even been sold when we started this building.

Bringing in more blocks for us to complete the top level before the parapet fascia works.

Great & useful info from you. My Aunt is proposing same in Asaba too (but 4 block of 2 bedroom. 2 up/2 down).

The contractor told her it'll cost about 18-20 million. Perhaps he was right afterall judging from this your estimate.

The cost the engineer quoted is very adequate, but you should move fast, there might be more inflation in the near future.

Topping the final blocks before the parapet fascia is started.............
