Inflation is a major factor. Price of freshly imported cars affects price of locally used cars.

I sold my 2003 Honda Odyssey with 463,127 reading of the odometer,and the engine was never tampered with and it was still solid then .

I read it here on Nairaland. The woman is a South Korean, and she drives an Hyundai car which she uses to run delivery.

When the car reached 999,999 it stopped because it can read 7 digits.

Eventually, Hyundai made a Gold plated sign denoting 1M, and placed it in front of the normal odometer reading for her.

It's an interesting story if you can find it.
