My Ordeal with indriver was not good at all.
I picked up this dude at 1004. The destination showed Ojodu Berger and the trip fare was N3010. At the PU point, the lad said he'll be making a transfer as his mode of payment, neither do I sense anything contrary to his request.

Approaching Ojodu Berger, the map destination showed he is heading towards Agbole akute, then I asked where exactly his he going to? He replied akute-ajuwon. It was a rainy day. I said to him, I won't be able to go further pass the agbole bridge, I'll have to drop you at the foot of the bridge. Passenger said no problem.
On getting to the agreed destination, he disembarked from the vehicle but his items were still inside, went to negotiate with the bike riders. I didn't have any premonition that he'll be doing anything stupid. He came back hurriedly, requested for my account details in which I spelt out correctly. He confirmed the name of the account, he said done and quickly hopped on bike that was stationed in front of him, they zoomed off.

Waited earnestly for the money to drop but to no avail. I was marvelled. Presumably, He should be in his 20s ó. I'm still in shock ó.
I tried calling him,can't reach him he has blacklisted my number. Tried with other line, he picked up...heard my voice and blacklisted the line also.

In fact...I totally subscribe to @felicity submission about indriver riders as : low lifers and individuals living in privation.

Try to complain to support but there response is not encouraging. Seems their is no penalty for such action(s)

Sorry about your ordeal bro i understand how frustrating these things could be haven done a job yet didn't get paid.

Just save his contact on all of your phones I'm very very sure that one day you'll meet him again then get your money even with interest.

For sake of next time, ask rider to carry out the transfer 30min before getting to DOP(drop off point) since you both already know the amount. That's how I do each time I'm on indriver ride, if I'm not informed in ask 5min into the ride. Remind them again after 5min because some will want to act smart like they didn't hear you and if they're not doing it pull over in a safe place and make it clear politely you want them to carryout the transfer now.

you didnt have to jump into such conclusions. i stated in my post that d car was recently acquired as tokunbo less than 3 months ago, i actually use it for uber in my free time. i still used it and made about 5k that i needed yesterday even though i was in d office. i just want to get d car off my expense list so i can face other obligations squarely for now. its not like the car is disfunctional or a liability to anyone

U call or rider calls, u cancel or rider cancels, They will deduct their commission first as soon as u pick price and time and rider accepts ur proposal.
Whether they will refund the money deducted now depends on circumstances surrounding the cancellation/termination of the trip.

When rider calls immediately and cancels immediately after the call they don't deduct commissions. But if driver calls commission will be deducted immediately. Speaking from my own experience

yes since i stop calling more than 15 months ago, drivers have been calling, yes my last 2 rides on bolt are with drivers who have completed over 7500 trips on the platform.

this is call records from drivers of my last two rides, is 20 secs call or 40 sec call that will make me taste medicine, and which medicine exactly?

i pay cash, i do cash

if i have different stop i need to make, i discuss all my stops with driver before i even enter into the vehicle, from my first stop to my final destination

if i don’t know the exact area of my destination, i discuss with driver, and only one driver has ask me to change distinction on the app bcus he knows the location very well

all riders are not evil

and yes i am using the app the right way. bcus i make my pickup very easy and smooth for any driver picking me up

Rider was asking me why I didn’t go down to check , I told him it’s too late and what will happen if I go seeing we ve been in traffic for more than 20mins.
I just pity my low mileage Camry but void never to go to abule egba again in the night.
I officially stopped pursuing 1M target and ants league last might when I heard the news of my colleague in same office that died.

Today have only done 10. Number 10 was from my neighbor in the same block of flats. I had gone home to rest and eat, and no sooner had I gone online that a 1.4x came in. Slid arriving now and dashed outside, called her, turned the car and waited for her. She entered car, we exchanged pleasantries, dropped her off. Transaction ended. No time for familiarity. I don't know her, neither does she. Business is business.

I don't take requests that come from my house, I leave it to ring out , I have a decent relationship with my neighbours and collecting money for the service rendered might be a problem.

The other day one asked that I take him to the airport, told him I won't be working on the day and he can just book a ride .
