SIT AT HOME COMPLIANCE: GOVERNOR OBIANO MEETS WITH SECURITY COUNCIL/ HEADS OF BANKS..

By Ejike Abana (ABS Government House Correspondent)

Anambra State Government has directed banks to resume operation effective Monday, 13 September, 2021.

Governor Willie Obiano gave the directive during his meeting with members of the State Security Council comprising all security outfits in the state and heads of all bank branches in the state.

According to the Governor who stressed that the sit -at -home compliance affects the Gross Domestic Product, GDP and economy of the state, he pointed out that banks that don't comply with the directive will be sealed for the whole week.

The Governor, however said that if such banks don't open the upper Monday, the bank will be permanently closed.

He assured that adequate security measures have been put in place to ensure compliance, saying that adequate security patrol will increase around bank branches and other business ventures across the state.

Governor Obiano further directed that markets will continue to open, as well as commuters involved in transportation business, asking people to have confidence and go about their businesses without fear.

He further asked the bank branch heads to articulate their bank branches and relevant information to be handed over to the Commissioner of Police, for adequate planning and entrenchment of security, as security operatives will be deployed early in strategic locations to ensure that people move about without molestation.

Meanwhile, the IPOB had also issued their own statement in response to the Warning which was issued by Governor Obiano.

Breaking news!

ESN has directly challenged Governor Obiano to come out with his family during the lockdown Dates Announced by IPOB.

Obiano has announced in all the 250 markets in Anambra and mandated that all markets must be opened starting from 13th September, failure to comply will lead to permanent closure of such market.

This is a move to force our people to jettison the call for 14th saboteurs day sit at home as announced by IPOB!
Obiano should lead by example, come with his family to the market square.

Biafrans! We must not heed to this threat as they are planning all they can to distort our collective resolve to pursue our freedom.

How many markets will they close? If worst comes to be, the gates of the markets will be opened but all shops will remain totally locked up.

We must win this last battle, they don't have any other moves to make and at this point, we are already checkmating them in the game.

IPOB & ESN have Challenged Anambra State Governor Obiano to dare to come out with his family during the lockdown.
All must hail Biafra

Let's Just Watch How The Drama Unfolds.

But then..
Government should beef up the security in the State, that is, if they really wanted the people to trust them and go about their normal businesses.

One thing is to open d markets, banks, parks then d next thing is to force people into it. Security outfits/police that could not protect their stations, check points during #endsars and unknown gun men protest, operations are d one u are promising to protect d people simply bcus d Gdp/Igr of d state wud be greately affected.
Other wise state house of assemblies/governors are busy passing & assenting d anti open grazing law respectively & u came back from abroad at d weekend to talk trash.
You and ur entire family, aides, commissioners, special advisers etc should come out on monday & open d banks, markets, motor parks etc
USA based Anambra State Governor & d drunkard general of d federation.

Ladies and gentlemen,Obiano can't guarantee our security.

But it's still funny how locking your shop will give you your utopian country. Has Buhari been affected one bit by this actions.

Na we the poor masses who suffer to put food on our table will still suffer from the decision. Worse case scenario, baba go borrow money fly abroad go chill.

You reading this will be suffering it

Many people don't understand the idea of the SIT AT HOME.....It a solidarity protest for not bringing KANU to court on the court day to disgrace him thinking ndi Igbo will abandoned him and go about their buying and selling....igbos now decided that that Monday they refuses to bring KANU to court and many Nigeria laughed and taunted us will continue being an ghost town in south east in solidarity that where ever he is we stand by him and remebrs him....and we will continue doing so until they take his case serious and know his people has not forgotten about him and bring him to court. That's why IPOB LEADERSHIP CALLED OFF THE SIT AT HOME WHILE THE PEOPLE INSISTS ON IT TILL KANU APPEARS IN COURT.
