La Liga outfit Granada have terminated the contract of midfielder Ramon Azeez after he refused to go on another loan spell away from the club.

Granada official Patricia Rodriguez announced the contract termination, saying Azeez, 28, refused several options offered him.


Last season, the former Golden Eaglets and Flying Eagles captain played on loan at Segunda Division club FC Cartagena, where he made 16 appearances and helped them to avoid relegation.

Azeez joined Granada in January 2019 after shining at Lugo.

However, he failed to establish himself at the club.

He made a total of 46 appearances and scored two goals.
