Sorry about your experience but with the way Nigeria is now and the scam going on, I'd advise you have someone go inspect on your behalf when you see a car online that you like before you pay. Yes, some of us have built reputation to a point where people can send us money for a car even without seeing it and get exactly what we advertised. However, you can't give this level of trust to just anybody.

It happens. I still sold a car to someone in the US 2 days ago. Car is in my house as we speak and she didn't need anyone to come check. However, you can't give that level of trust to just anyone or any random dealer online.

Oga get the scammer arrested let him provide you with the specified car you ordered or pay you at the current dollar rate, no dolling on this one. If you have put that money in business it would have yielded more for you. EFCC would be the best to use for this they will make sure he pay to the last penny, the police may mess up the matter.
