williams85: https://www.premiumtimesng.com/business/business-news/478916-tstv-reaches-agreement-with-strong-technology-to-migrate-mytv-customers.html The first paragraph of the article..... Emphasis is on.... ITS MYTV CUSTOMERS The indigenous direct-to-home TV service provider, TStv, has reached an agreement with Strong Technology Ltd. to migrate its MyTV customers on SRT 497S-HEVC decoders to TStv Africa pay TV platform https://www.tstvafrica.com/?p=9529 Indigenous Direct-to-Home TV service provider, TStv, in Abuja on 9th August, 2021 reached an agreement with Strong Technology Limited to migrate its MYTV customers on SRT 497S-HEVC decoders to TStv Africa pay TV platform starting this month of August. MY TV will cease broadcasting on September 1, 2021. Read the full story on tstv own blog page Don't just know why you guys are always quick to ask even those better informed to go do their research... It is the Spirit of pride.. Re: What Is Happening To TSTV? by williams85(m): 6:31pm On Sep 13, 2021 |
Themandator:you have comprehension problem. The migration is done only on strong receivers of this model....SRT 497S-HEVC decoders only. Those mytv customers with other type of decoder are not among.. mytv is a broadcasting company and they have shut down. Strong technologies manufactures satellite receiver.. MYTV channels are no more, if the agreement goes through it means strong 497s receiver will be working with tstv channels. Since you find it difficult to understand , i have to break it down for you.. have a nice day! 1 Like |

Re: What Is Happening To TSTV? by Themandator: 11:29am On Sep 20, 2021 |
Simple...they cannot compete with DSTV and startimes. They have something both don't have.. Cheap and per as you go option I hardly need more then 80 naira on weekends to have 40 channels of my choice... Not Arabic and Islamic channels that I do not need..... I love war movies and they have channels that shows very current ones written out of American expeditions in the middles East I am not too keen about football but they have channels that air league matches. The pricing is the icing for me... Sometimes I am on 20 naira per day made of up mostly news channels Mobile Streaming is essentially for the unmarried.. I can't be on steaming with my boys and daughter and wife... That is not family life

symbianDON: Does it make any sense to you as a person that they went off Sir because they want to migrate some mytv strong decoder owners? No. They have told you that all you need to do with your decoder is do a blind scan.. Just do a rescan and their channels will come up then you make payment in installments that will be used as your subscription fees |
