After paying my UK IHS and VISA fee (I didn't proceed to book for biometrics), I canceled the application so as to make small amendment by reapplying.

Now I need the IHS and visa fee funds to re-apply. How long does it take to get a refund please?

Just keep the hope alive don't withdraw your application, your collection mail can drop anytime. Meanwhile, you can email your school and explain the situation to them.

My school latest/alternative start date is October 15, 2021 but I need to observe the 10 days COVID 19 isolation so I should be in UK latest by October 4, so time is of the essence. I have sent paid mails twice and made escalations but the same reply I get is that my application is under processing. Earlier this year I visited south Africa and overstayed for some few days due to circumstances beyond my control and this got me a 1 year ban from south Africa which I stated in my UK visa application. A week after applying, I got a non straight forward mail so I suspect it could be because of the ban. What can I do in this situation? Is it possible they grant visa after school resumes? What can such a visa be used for since I can no longer join class? Should I withdraw my application?
I am deeply worried. Please help a sister

How much did you pay for standard fee?

Based of what I've read here, you add 'priority' as a service on the TLS website

Did you select Self service or assisted service? I noticed that during my application process, self service had dates for the following week while Assisted Service had no dates. If the dates for September are still not showing, just select the closest date in October, and log back in tonight at around midnight to amend the application, fresh dates for September should be up by then or check in tomorrow morning.

We're you fined by SA? If yes, did you pay the fine.

Was that the only time you ever overstayed?

Anyway, you should prepare for Interview.

You will still get the Visa, hopefully.

Wait a minute! He had already submitted a 28 days PoF before Biometrics? Was the money moved within those period or after?

A friend of mine who had applied for his visa and done biometrics and everything, his dad moved the money from the account to do something and apparently his dad didn't know the money must remain untouched, and now he's gotten a refusal letter, is there anything he can do, because the money is still available, the dad just moved it?

It's not much of a problem, I experienced same, what you need do is to add in the more information field that "You attached a so so... Bank statement to this application between the month of x to z with the closing balance of....." But then don't forget to upload the bank statement.

That will suffice. I did same and have my visa already. Goodluck!!
