TheLoneCitizen:

Thank you. Parallel market is the one on Google, right?

Read it through, and discovered the best options are UBA dollar prepaid card and Barter?
When it comes to exchange rate, which will you recommend?

Please can someone help with the other questions.
Parallel Market is Black Market or BDC.
Any Dollar prepaid Card you would be responsible for funding it yourself meaning you will have to resort to the parallel market again.

Barter only saves you the stress since you can fund the virtual card with your normal Naira debit card.

Thank you so much, brothers, for your tolerant guidance.

I have learnt that the best option is to use a Nigerian prepaid card due to their cheaper rate over virtual cards.

I have settled for the Access Prepaid Mastercard over UBA's. Is this okay?

One more question (might not be the last):
I read I will need to submit some documents in case my purchase goes awry.
But the problem is that I am seeing international passport or driver's license, papers I can't produce.

How do I go about this?

Hope you are okay with the $100 monthly limit on Access Bank Naira Domiciled Visa(Which is best for Access Bank) or MasterCards?

Because if you are been dodgy about exchange rates then you should be prepared to buy things around the $100 cap.

I read that the mastercard has a $1,000 daily transaction.

I ordered 5 items since the 27th of July, received 3 over a month ago and the last 2 are yet to arrive. What baffles me is that one of them shows arrived at destination country over a month ago I haven't received it. Tracking number starts with RU. Does this mean my package is lost or something fishy is going on, I'm very concerned cause it's very precious to me.

Please who knows how long it takes, on average, for a parcel shipped through Speedaf to get custom clearance in Nigeria?

I have some stuck on customs clearance too, that's new, I have never seen customs clearance on SpeedAf tracking until now.

Don't get it twisted. Naira MasterCards has a $100 monthly limit.

If you want to do away with the limit you have to get a dollar MasterCard and fund it yourself.

I'm afraid you're confusing me, sir.

The image below is from Access official website. They say the Mastercard is available only in naira. In fact, no access bank card eligible for international transaction is lower than the $300 limit, according to the site.

If this is confirmed I don't think I need a prepaid card again, I think I'll opt for the regular mastercard/visa card.

But I want to understand you sir: if I go for a naira card, I get the bank exchange rate, while if I go for a dollar card, I have to find myself at a higher rate?

2 of my parcels have been stuck on Customs clearance since Saturday. I initially thought it was because of weekend. Hopefully, they'll be cleared before the week runs out.

This info is before the current currency regime.

If you doubt dabble it. You will come and give us feed back of how you spend $1000 daily on a Naira Domiciled card.

Contact who? This one is for you to take up with the post office. If they don't have it. Contact the seller.

I got a mail from Ali express that my order arrived on September 8th, I usually get a call from nipost that I have a package and they usually deliver to me. But over 5 orders now from Ali express I stopped getting my parcel. But getting this mail that I should go and get my package from my local post office that my order has arrived. Should I go there or wait for a call from them? Has anyone experienced this? Please assist

Not true at all, I've had an order that took like a week to pass through custom clearance
I currently have two items being handled by speedaf now. One has been pending customs clearance for like 2 weeks, the other one that came in last week Wednesday hasn't even appeared on their tracker.

Wait for a day or two for their message.

Track with track24.net for more details of your item movement.

I personally don't check AliExpress tracking once I get my tracking number.

Thanks for assisting. I used track24.net and this is what I saw. What does failed delivery mean? They never contacted me for any delivery should I still wait a day or two?

Wait a day or two.

It depends on location, for mine, I get two failed/unsuccessful delivery, first at the State HQ and second when it finally gets to my Post Office.

So failed Delivery usually us that it is at your post office.

You're 100% accurate on this. Access Bank just confirmed this to me.

So can you kindly help me with how I am to contact the seller to split?

The delivering time in the picture, does that mean that's the number of days it takes to be delivered to me?
