Sit At Home: Why Is Everyone Crying On Behalf Of The Participants? by Ekealterego: 10:23am On Sep 14, 2021
I have done an exploratory observation on this "sit-at-home" issue. I have observed that people from the North, Yorubas, the SE governors, the media and political affiliates like their social media "employees" are the only ones crying about the "sit-at-home" order. Just look at the number of threads opened on the front page by those who cuss and hate UmuIgbo every day of their life are also "worried" about them. It defies logic.

My question is, Why is every other person crying about sitting at home on behalf of the people sitting at home? The "sit-at-home" is the least confrontational and probably the most peaceful way to send a message to the authorities. It ensures that the loss of life will be reduced to the barest minimum, given how inhuman Nigerian security agents are.

The feedback from my exploration shows that your constant worry and crying is sending a message to the participants that their strategy is actually working.

Why is everyone worried on behalf of the participants?

Igbos are angry with Nigeria, if they stage a peaceful protest, they will be shot for being Igbos on accusations.

Their representatives are blocked from helping them in Abuja because of the historical gang up, and the corruption of the representatives.

Their governors are playing to please their oppressors.

The people chose to do the next best thing, slow down everything to show your anger in the safest way possible.

Those wailing are wailing because Igbos has found a path they cannot stop them from. The sit at home should be every Monday and Friday every week.

That is the anger of the north.

Here in Onitsha, nobody knows or cares about the government paid noise makers on nairaland, every Monday is a ghost town till further notice. If Nigerians can protest like Biafrans, the evil leadership in the country would collapse, that's why the government wants to end the protests before other parts of the country would adopt a similar strategy. The same way that IPOB have inspired secessionist movements in other parts of Nigeria.

Eastern governors recruited online warriors to cry on behalf of the participants. The governors are worthless. No value to the people.

In Igboland, power belongs to the people not to one useless supreme court governor

It's interesting, others are crying more than the bereaved.

I set up an interactive session with those who are against the sit at home. Op you can bear me witness to the kind of suggestions they brought e.g
1) open protest (and get shot, thank you),
2) change the idealogy of the political parties like APC,
3) take protest to Abuja,
4) face the police directly,
5) unite the south to ask for referendum,
6) join Nigeria politics and unite all Igbos,
7) cancel the sit at home first,
cool work with other Nigerians to make Nigeria work,
9) forget Biafra and live in Nigeria like that *facepalm* etc etc

I will confess something here : I regretted that interactive session. It was a total waste.

Your point concerning other regions adopting the strategy of Sit-at-home is a high possibility

Most people that oppose IPOB don't have a better alternative method to suggest.

It's Igbos crying. The struggle we once believed in is gradually turning to a tyrannical monster like the one we are running from, killing and maiming Biafrans

IPOB is a cancer. If you people like, sit for how long you want, the change you seek would not happen.

Biafra as a physical construct is dead and buried.

Biafra as a ideology for emancipation, accountability and socioeconomic growth can be made possible but not with the set of riff Raff call IPOB.

People who would cut their noses to spite their face. Tueh!!!

If northerns blocked food from coming to the south, the whole southerners and hausa will feel it, if the yoruba blocked operation in lagos , the federal govt will feel the impart, if Niger Delta avenger blow up pipes, the whole country will feel the impart. But if igbo enforce the sit at home, only the igbo at the location wil feel it. The southeast is economically irrelevant to the grand scheme of things in nigeria. grin grin grin cheesy

Your head too correct. Sense no go kill you.

Oya tell musiliu from yorubaland and Abdul from Abokeyland to sit down and protest against the rise in food prices and uselessness of the naira, the foools will be the first to point out your tribe and religion as an excuse for not obeying the clarion call, while nigeria continues to rot.

It is an evidential proof that nigeria can never get better, multi-ethnic countries with poor literacy rate in Africa can never progress beyond the level 12th century Europe.

Only monoethnic countries with shared ideals and principle can move on to national greatness, and that's what Biafra represents.

Can you make meaningful conversation and stop embarrassing the lineage you have been so fortunate to have been born into.
