CountVersailles:

Typically, you are not supposed to share any facilities during your quarantine period. You should be completely by yourself. In fact, last I heard, you are only entitled to maybe 15 mins or so outside your room each day.

Thank you.

Please, I will be traveling to Newfoundland, St. John’s next month and I need a roommate or if I can get an apartment, I’ll be glad.
Also, I will like to meet new people already in St. John’s as I don’t know anyone for now
Getting around may be a bit difficult
I’ll appreciate. Thank you

I greet the elders!!

Please I need clarity on something. I am a student here, and I offer services online as per freelance and I am getting paid via paypal which means I’ll be cashing my money to my Canadian bank acc now. Does this have anything to do with the set working hours or taxing or what ever. Cus I am yet to fully understand all this things

Hi all,

I will be traveling to Saskatoon next month. My DLI is the university of Saskatchewan so if anybody is bound in the same direction please reach out. I will also be needing a roommate so anywhere close to school. If you can also help with accommodation pointers please reach out.

Thanks in anticipation.

Hi ,Please when is the best time to get married and add spouse after AOR. Do I need to wait for my MEP and BIL? Or anytime after AOR is fine.

This is so encouraging. My best friend I grew, studied with and worked with, who we always talked of leaving for Canada just left. That's when it hit me I must stop procrastinating. Hopefully this month I and my wife start the WES process. I have a good job with an iNGO, with the the whole UK government cuts to foreign aid I'll be out of work soon. My wife however works with a very good government agency and we don't know how she will leave that job yet honestly. We'll just apply for the WES and see what happens after.
Icing on the cake for me would be having my children in Canada. [/quote]

Most people always "wake up" when someone close to them gets express entry

Bro, so you later move abroad? I read somewhere in 2009 you were contemplating moving or staying back. Glad you made the right decision.

I've use British Airways. There's not much difference with the others. Do you have a specific question?

Hello,

Congrats on your study permit. I decided to reach you after I read your judicial review story earlier today. I've sent a request to send you a mail and I'd appreciate if we can connect. I really need your help as I want to apply for a Judicial Review too.

I hope I quoted correctly because this is my first time commenting on nairaland.

Thanks a lot.

MyRace:
Good day all,

It feels good to be posting here, having just received a Study Visa. I am trying my best to read through the thread as there is so much information to garner. However, I would like to ask a few location specific questions since I would be going to Halifax, Nova Scotia.

1. What is the best location to stay with family?

2. Which region within Halifax has the best Elementary and Middle school, as that will likely determine where we'll stay.

3, Are there specific Elementary and Middle schools that can be recommended?

4. Is there a Whatsapp or Telegram f=group I can join?

Thank you all so much as I await your kind responses

yes, i stuck to one decision and have no regrets at all. So if you like abroad leave your high paying job so another person can have that opportunity. Best of luck.

Really? That can't be the case. I'm not a Canadian citizen and I flew with BA to Canada and back without issues, passing through Heathrow

no, from fellow Nigerians in Canada looking to sell cad for naira. Cad is not a major currency in Nigeria, only a few mallams have it and they will sell for 450 upwards

nigeria is not currently somalia, libya, syria or afghanistan. What he is telling you is impossible. Nothing but a cheap scam. Seems Nigerians get coconut head . Stop patronizing these useless people called agents . The Nigerians claiming asylum in Canada came in from usa by road. They entered usa on visit visa as Canada doesn’t give visit visa to just anyone.
