Please what's the code for cancellation on Bolt, sometimes it's not just possible for a driver to make a trip and must by all means, cancel it.

Please what's the best way to do it when the rider refuses to cancel and it is imperative that you do it yourself, especially when you are trying not to miss out of a commission or incure any penalty from bolt.

Felicity001:

That's the only code for cancellation on indriver. Whatever the case may be you must wait at a spot for 5min before being allowed to cancel with "rider didn't show up" else it will tell you "you've move away from the pickup point. So each change of location you do you'll have to wait for another 5 minutes before cancelling.

Even on the island they do stop and search at VGC and Ilaje especially Friday evenings.

On Sunday, I picked a guy and his girlfriend from Lagos Island heading to Abule Egba, trip was going smooth until police flaged us down at 7up.

The guy said "Egbon ema duro fun won" (bros don't stop for them).
Me that has stopped already. undecided
I can't be an accomplice please.

Immediately we stopped, no story, they took him into the hilux, one of the police entered my car and said we are going to the station. How nah, wetun be my own. Okay now, make we go.

That's how we ended up at Ogudu station from 7up. On the way, the officer in my car was trying to have a conversation with me, talmabout how I shouldn't be wearing white native dress to drive because it will get stained.

Me in my mind shey na that one be koko now abi my time that you people want to waste. I sha tried to be friendly with him before they will rope me.

Got to the station, the officer said he'd like to search my car. Told him he's free so far we gather. He searched and found nothing.

He then went inside, brought a chair for me and the guys girlfriend to sit down. Before leaving us he said , chill small oga let us talk to the guy, his cooperation will determine whether you will go with him or he will pay you and you'd leave him here.

5mins later I was called to the interrogation room to end trip because he wasn't cooperating. I end trip and he paid me, 3400. So I requested to speak with the guy privately and the officers agreed, I asked him what the issue is, he said they found exhibits on his phone and they are billing him 500k or nothing.

I asked him what's he bargaining, he said 30k. Told him to stay on it. I called the officer that was in the car with me and I reasoned with him to talk with their boss on his behalf. After going back and forth they collected 30k.

The officers themselves said they'd have to escort us pass where those police stopped you oga BAZO because they we will stop us there. That's how they followed us to 7up again before we went our way.

Getting to Abule Egba, Immediately after descending the bridge, naso police stop us again, me I no wait o. I Don look around, it's just 3 of them, no hilux, free road. I acted like I was going to stop, for where.....I zoomed off. Second trip ended 3900.

Sabi you're the new guy that some useless lasma arrested the other day or somebody else.

You're doing well... Keep it up.

Don't leave your riders stranded in the hands of thieves or police.

I just hope u are not one of dose who vote for de change

If so na de change wey una vote for manifest so grin

The beat lesson I learnt is to keep political interest and sentiment far away from all of my friendship and relationship with people...

Since 2014/2015 till now I've not reconcile with a lot of my close friends because of this present regime. You needed to see the way they shamed me, insulted and painted me black just because I was against the campaign for change. Now many of them can't even look at me in the face to talk, the once that unfriend me on FB nko? Childhood friends I'm talking about here ooh not just friends of 4-5yrs ooh... I miss them some times shall but when I think of the pains, sufferings, death and indebtness their vote brought us I can't just think of forgiving them like that.

So to save myself from future and further heartbreak I just simply stay away from anything politics.

If you're my friend and it's time for electron? If you like support APC, PDP or ASN or America I don't care... In fact the moment una start political talk I just cary my leg waka commot.

I don't use them, but there are a couple of affordable ones on Jumia.
Just search for the ones with at least 4.0 stars and many good reviews from those who purchased it, then proceed to make your order.

A quick update on my experience doing uberbolt so far

I got a Nigerian used Honda city 07 at a cheap price did the papers and servicing

Car-550k
Papers (c of o) -60k
Servicing and minor fixing -30k
Ac (condenser, drier, compressor, flush and workmanship) -46k
Painting /body work-67k

On Monday i Registered on bolt free, Registration on uber-3k

Started work on Tuesday day did Uber, came online but long distance pick up made like 10k gross from 8 to 3pm cos i had to rush back to do my other hustles.

On Wednesday (was not so good). It started great tho. I couldn't meet the welcome bonus on bolt( complete 5 trips and get 4k bonus). I made like 10k from 7 to 2pm den the nightmare.
I took a trip to unilag close to yaba i got seriously scratched on my newly painted car. I felt angry and decided to close. Heading home from Unilag to attend to personal stuffs. I mistakenly took one way and got caught. I paid 5k

Thursday i went to ikorodu online trip showed 8.5k rider paid 11k out of pity. i almost cried due to bad road then did some airport ofline.

Friday i didn't work cos i discovered i drive back empty from where a trip ends to my house when its becoming 3pm to attend to my other hustles.

On Saturday and Sunday i made like 35k net did like 16 back to back trips from 7 to 7pm (i began to wonder how Felicity takes more than 300trips in a month)

CONS: I noticed i have back pain into and at the end of the day after driving long hours, i hear some noise on the drivers side car legs when turning the steering or if i enter a bad road and i don't know where its from. I've asked two kazzeem they said its normal and is caused by the rain and water but they need to greese some places on the legs another kazeem said its the ball joint. At this point i dunno what to believe.

Veterans in the house especially people in the ant's league please advise me. What am i not doing right
you are doing well. Your car is manual for that amount?

Ha! Isnt that too much? What year is it? Got my for 50k excluding insurance. 55k with 3rd party

My DL contact said 60k 3rd insurance inclusive.

Me I no come Lagos come look bridge oh I'll go for the chepaest.

But I'm just wondering.
All these things can't we get them done ourselves? Me I don't like the idea of one guy helping somebody to do all these things. Isn't there supposed to be a office where one can just walk in and apply for a plate number and get other necessary papers done?

Just thinking!

First of all let's acknowledge setting destination simply means u will not get trips out of your route. It doesn't mean u will be getting all the trips on the App going in ur route. The rule of the closest available driver to pick a trip still applies. Therefore, when u set destination u have to pray you are the closest available driver to a rider going to that area u have set. So what u need to do is find ur way to an area with high demand to increase ur chance of getting a rider going in ur direction and u being the closest driver to the rider.
